The return of Dungeon Fighter Online (OPEN BETA PT. I STARTS MARCH 24TH!).
I really hope all this waiting hasn't driven away the casual players and only leaving the hardcore people left. We need every single player possible to help DFO prosper when Neople is done with their work. Bad financial start, and the game may as well get the plug pulled again.

Exactly.
It's not that I can't wait, even if I do look forward to explore Arad again. I am just worried. It is badly managed, there can be no debate about that. Transparancy is key, and vague statements and irrelevant fluff is too similar to Nexon for my taste. They need to be absolute top notch, otherwise DFO will die. Again.

Maybe I am just getting spoiled from how Gazillion run Marvel Heroes now?

Nah it's not just you. These days it's pretty key to be able to respond/talk with players on an open basis. Most of the best responsive gaming companies have set pretty high standards, so players unfortunately are spoiled. Again, I'm sure Neople is very uncertain about saying too much about DFO since they knew it already failed once.

Until we know if they are working hard and don't want us to worry, or they actually have no idea how to set things up for global players, we're pretty much forced to fill in the blanks for ourselves and usually assume the worst. Worst case would be that they are actually too ambitious on carrying out their promise, and this is all a way to stall for time while they come up with a plan. Best case scenario would be that they are working on Valve/Blizzard time, so while they're taking their time, it'll be amazing and word of mouth/advertising will gain them enough players to make this whole venture worth the wait.

Priest 2nd awakening leak and whatnot.
I don't care if it takes several more months, THIS is the game that I'll be waiting for. Based Neople please come through for us.

Wasn't the server so overflowed that they had to open extra channels multiple times? I wonder what kind of response they actually expected after basically going 100% word of mouth to attract players. Did they expect the game to start up as popular as DnF is in Korea?

It's not just you. I wouldn't say that it is being BADLY managed, but maybe improperly is the better term. ArenaNet with Guild Wars 2 is having the same exact problem right now, so it's not even exclusive to them being a Korean developer. I think these developers need to start realizing that players want information. They want to know what's coming, not to just have it thrown in their face suddenly and hope that they like it or even notice it. DFO may very well launch and people won't even know, and then Neople will end up disappointed at the fan response that doesn't exist...because they didn't bother to let anyone know.

>Crusader becomes the Pope

This'll never get to DFO, despite it being hilariously epic to have as a title.

We used to create an exclusive NPC for DFO in the past.
Does anybody think this is a good idea for our new DFO?

Give us your thoughts!

Have some fluff.
No to the Nine thousand power. I rather use the KDNF method.
At this point I can't imagine that a single pineapple is given about NPCConfused.

Why not keep the masses interested by posting hints about where we will pick up? And a general sense of when?
If anyone still has the neople files on your computer, please PM me. I needz them plzzzz.

EDIT: Thanks for the overwhelming response, guys. You're the best.
HAHAHAHAHA
Quote:Our CEO has just confirmed using him as an NPC on our new DFO!
Thanx to all who "liked" our comment about him as an NPC.
We will post an update (with rough sketch if possible) when it's ready!
.
.
P.S. We apologize for such a small information on current DFO progress, making up for a 2-year gap takes a lot of work!
Many new exciting "things" (related to our new DFO) are happening which needs to be worked on.
We know many of you are tired of waiting, but when all these "new" bits and pieces are sorted out, we promise to share these information with you all.
.
Thank you!

THEY TOOK THIS JOKE SERIOUSLY! LOVE YOU NEOPLE!
At least they acknowledge the lack of information.

I really don't think a time table is too much to ask for. It doesn't even have to be very specific, just a general pointer.

If they do not have one internally, they lack the business skills to make DFO survive, rendering everyting moot.
So, I'm going to help translate it to Spanish (Latin America). :V
DFO Facebook Wrote:Remember us mentioning about new exciting “things” being prepared on our new DFO?
One of the things we came up with was making the DFO fans be a part of DFO.

Ever heard of a “Kickstarter”? It’s one of the crowd-funding platforms, but in our case, it’s different.
Instead of money, we are looking for “talent donation”, to provide you a chance to participate in DFO.

Currently, we are developing our DFO in English but we want to try something new, to make our DFO support other languages also.
So we would like some help on translation, starting off with Spanish (Latin American) for South American fans.

We have uploaded a small amount of text on “Google Docs” and see how this is gonna work out for a month.
Anyone who is willing translate into Spanish (Latin American) is welcomed.
If this goes smoothly, we will make this a serious project for you to join which will help us greatly.

Here’s the link
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing

It’s open to public, but make sure to log in with Gmail account to have your record on our list.
We would love to send 10 DFO Original Soundtrack who will be helping us, finding possibility of this new project.
If this project has some potential, then we will prepare for in-game rewards, name on our DFO credit, etc with some organized translation workspace.

We also would like to hear some feedback about our idea, idea of being a part of DFO development.
Thanx!

Since some anonymous were deleting other people's work, we decided to grant access to edit to ppl who verified their GMail account with us through
dfo_support@neople.co.kr

P.S. Anybody into voice acting or preparing for career in the future?
