I unfortunately cannot strut in rainbow jeans, because I do not have ancient memory. There was a cursed shadow splitter hiding in there, but all is well because it gave me a crystallized chaos.

My god, that must've been the most annoying hell mode I've done since rebirth, what with blaze throwing flame stones on me while I'm in the middle of an attack animation and burning me to death, bulletina and tara flame annoying me with screen-wide topspins and non-stop lantern adors and other flame attacks and interrupting everything, and with castro wave xxx hitstunning and awakening on me, and nugol hunter petrifying me and doing like 20 pct of my health with lasers. I must've wasted like 15 tokens on this run alone. I kept getting interrupted, and couldn't even run away because of bulletina and tara.

This normally wouldn't be that bad, except this was my first run on skasa on my level-minimum, gear-minimum asura without indom. I was also unable to leave the room for some strange reason, and I checked around for run-away mobs, but none were to be found, even off-screen (unless they somehow flew above me...)

Edit: I may be using this instead of ignition sword.

That explosion seems kinda neat.

That is awesome.

~1k damage vs the 4-5k Neutral Waves. For me I can't see the explosions being actually good. Only for something to screw around with when bored.

It's actually around 3k in the vid (the number you were looking at was probably the actual triple slash), and I was also fatigued in that video (19 % ish) so all my attacks should have done more damage.

But you're right, its not very practical, and might just serve to give me filler once all my moves are on cd (if that happens, but it can) or just for an extra when I'm triple slashing away (it launches a little bit or a lot depending on the monster).

The real issue is whether its better than ignition sword or not, though (it gives like 30 more int base but loses +1 fire sword (not too worried about that) and +1 wave manifestation brand (might be covered by that int base and higher cast speed because of katana vs ss), and doesn't inflict fire damage (meh, waves are already element-set?)

All-in-all, its not a huge deal, though.

Sure do hate the server lags. It seems to be happening across all games, because when there's a huge server lag and I check the Southperry frontpage, the button for GMS servers shows up as yellow.

Ignition is better. This isn't even a proper question.

Wave mani bonus is better, and katanas are garbage in general especially for asuras. No exception for epics either. Innate Fire damage is really useless as it doesn't mod waves either. Also lolxxxingwithshortsword. It'll only affect MLS/WWS/ACS/Upper/xxx/First hit of Asche, so it's not important at all for PvE.

Well, its still lagging. I just managed to move to the previous room somehow. I think only moo's the only one left besides me.
