So I'm now scheduled for a follow up interview with a division manager, chief scientist, and senior scientist at my dream job. I did some Google sleuthing and holy crap some of these people have a dozen personal patents for the major components of the company products. These guys are amazing. And for some bizarre reason, they may want to hire me!

I'm also getting interest from CA Dept of Health, NAVAIR, and the Navy. I may have actual option after all!

When I got Tinder, I got a match like right away, and then I immediately uninstalled it and threw my phone out the window.

On the one hand, I prepped about a week's worth of food after being lazy about it for the last few weeks.

I wanna get accepted to an engineering program so I can coast through the rest of high school pls. Finally not sick anymore so I get to go to the gym again after to weeks wooo.

Fucking stupid day. Leave work an hour early so I can come home early, sleep and go to a dentist appointment early tomorrow. Instead I wake up every 30 minutes with stupid dreams about job and the last one is kinda disturbing and after 40 minutes I couldn't fall asleep again.

Don't know what bothers me more, the fact that I can't sleep or that I'm having dreams about my job. I wish I could have vacations to chill out and let some stress go but no, I got to wait until June because the client needs us to work the next 2 months. I know I can wait two months and it's dumb, but it pisses me off so much that they would ask something like that.g

Woke up to some great news! I start training for the painting job this Thursday! Training will be 4 days and about 30 hours total, which is paid $10/hr.

Gradshow afterparty last night.

Was a lot of fun and played jenga but the pieces were made up of pieces of 2x4's.

Rainy and gloomy.

About three and a half weeks ago, I broke my foot practicing martial arts and I broke this bone in my right foot. I had to go under surgery a week and a half later and I've been on bed rest ever since. About a week ago, my mouse short circuited and fried my mother board, leaving me literally unable to do anything but lie in bed all day. @_@

Medical bills took me from being well-off financially to now being $5,000 in debt and I can't even afford to live anywhere without mooching (which I'm resorting to right now...). The freakin' mother board cost $150 to replace, too. On top of that, my job is pushing to try to get rid of me because I can't work for at least the next couple of months (because it's extremely labor intensive), though legally they're required to hold it for 12 weeks.

Today, I got put in a hard cast and now I'm just sitting here for the next 4 weeks, hoping and praying my Leave of Absence pay paperwork goes through without a hitch. I can't even afford the $625 I owe by May 7th.

Went to the student art show on Saturday at my old university and ran into the director of the art program. I had last seen him when I interviewed with him and a number of my professors for a job I didn't end up getting. It was nice talking with him, he told me that the decision was actually really close between myself and the person they choose. He said that I interviewed really well. It was nice to hear all of it, because I was not sure at all why I didn't get the position. I know that things are not always for sure with interviews, but I was worried that some issues I had in my last semester as a SCA in my Housing job on campus had led to me not being offered the position. It's nice having the closer that it really just came down to experience.
