Ohgod I love Vergil and Iron Fist. Might start messing with Ghost Rider just because of his kickass theme.

My god playing zero online is still almost impossible for me. I can't cancel sentsuizan into raikousen consistently online. I even practice it on ONE BAR of connection in training and it's still easier to do than with some random person online that supposedly has a 5 bar connection. I might drop him from the team entirely for online play but I'm not sure who I'd replace him with.

Dat Thor combo, amazing. Gonna dive right into the game in a few days and gonna see if I can't replicate that combo in the training room. Such a Lethal Joke Character.

He's on one of my alternate teams. Don't really play it to try hard to win games though. Mostly for fun. Ghost Rider/ PW/ Wesker. GR is usually the one that carries the team.

How're people liking Iron Fist so far? I'm terrible at making combos, but the ones I'm messing around with can tear some pomegranate up, provided I get a decent hit and don't have a seizure in the middle of it.

Justin wong is already amazing with him. Pretty much instantly kills any average/ low health character off one hit.

He brings up some interesting points about how he thinks he should be played, and I've though of this but was unaware of some of his special moves/ hyper properties so I thought he'd just end up being a character with crappy normals and a projectile in courtroom mode if you didn't focus on turnabout. With this information he's uncovered he'll be a lot better if you play him properly. I'll definitely be trying PW online more now.

My brother uses Iron Fist and that^ pretty much describes him. The only problem I see with Iron Fist is that you are constantly on the offensive, so it leaves you open to counter moves like Taskmaster/Wesker's counter or Vergil/Wesker's teleports. In Iron Fist's defense, my brother doesn't do well against counters/teleports.

Had some time today to give UMvC3 a shot.

*Goes do some Iron Fist missions and gets to mission 6-7*

What the fu---, there are like 12-14 moves I have to combo in order to succeed, and about 1/3 of them are rekka chains. Holy crap!

I love doing a block string on an opponent, then rekka low kick, overhead kick, heavy punch, Fists of Fury, gets them all the time. It feels so good to land that overhead kick while they're blocking. If I'm on the wall after Fists of Fury bounces them, I hit them with a jab and dash under them before the land and do my crumple combo.

Also, Frank West's shopping cart assist locks them down long enough for me to go into a high-low rekka mix-up or, if it hits, go into crumple combo. If they're in the air, I'll do the forward heavy jump cancel combo.

I like Iron Fist, he's a pretty cool guy, but I have a hard time getting into someone with long normals or great keepaway game.

Spidey is pretty amazing now. Not sure who to learn first. Dante or more spidey.

I say Dante. Dante is still pretty top tier, probably moreso since he doesn't need to Rekka so hard so it's easier to get the 2ndary attack effect if needed. Hell, Iron Fist's Rekka chains seem less painful than Vanilla Dante's Rekkas. Spidey? I say give some time for people to discover if Spidey has anything going for him that'll make him worth using competitively.
