Gahhh, I had a load of problems with acne as a teenager, persisting until like, last year, where it all started to clear up finally, and I haven't had much problems since.

But now of course, since I actually managed to take the initiative and ask a hot guy to hang out, and since I actually have plans for once, it suddenly flares up out of goddamn nowhere and now I look like crap.

It better clear up soon, sigh. I'm going into the city tomorrow, then sunday i'll be seeing him.

Didn't end up meeting him yesterday anyway, he had been invited out by his parents, so we are meeting up on Wednesday instead.

Annnnyyway, today I am pretty annoyed.
Last week I went to my jobseekers interview and my coach said that I should go to a short interview today for 20 minutes so they can help me with my CV and stuff, I was like sure, why not, it's only 20 minutes and I could use some help with that.

So I go there, and it wasn't 20 minutes, it was more like 40, and it wasn't anything like what he said, because it was 40 minutes of signing paperwork to go on a 4 week, 5 hours a day course in how to get a job, starting tomorrow. I seriously feel like l was duped into this and I can't believe the gall he has to not tell me outright that I was starting such a commitment on such short notice.
I even went on one of these damn courses before years ago, and it was cringeworthy even back then.

I've only been out of work for a few months, and only been on Jobseekers for a few weeks, so I can't believe they are forcing this on me so early along with people who have been out of work for years. Sigh.

EDIT: And now I have a delivery coming tomorrow that I need to sign for, but can't because I have to be at the stupid course, and I think a courier was coming to pick something up tomorrow too which I was supposed to be here for, and now can't BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY pineappleING WARNING.

I'm getting angrier and angrier at this.

Decided to actually go outside and went to the aquarium (by myself, no judging please ;-. Had a good time looking at all the aquatic life, especially the jellyfish. Super mesmerizing and makes you forget about life while looking at them until you realize they have those stingers of theirs.

Also went out and got pho for the first time in forever, that was really good. On the way home, I also found a $5 bill. All in all, had a really great day

I have days where I feel like complete super duper pomegranate and that UT is going to take me and shred me into pieces. Then I days where I feel extremely accomplished and I will become a master physics major and nuclear engineer.

Today was neither of those days, today I just felt congested and ugly and sad about myself.

I just finished marathoning book 4 of Korra and I'm upset that korra didnt rip kuvira apart. Also downloaded Roommate Season 2 and Awkward Season 3 and 4. Holidays are fun ok i have go buy more doritos now bye

It sucks how something as trivial as a song can put you into a shitty state of mind. I have trouble letting go of things, and even with how well this year's been going for me I find myself passively wishing I could go back in time and fix what I did.

Spent an hour waiting in front of best buy to get a king DDD amiibo, they then said they didnt even stock it. They offered me metaknight instead. They said there are 9 of them, that soon went to 7, where there were 5 people in line/waited outside with me. This guy wanted meta knight for his daughter since she was a kirby fanatic, they said they didnt have any besides the ones listed by name, me being one of them. So I turned around and gave him my slot since I didn't really want it. I'm walking out and he's then screaming because apparently he couldn't "take" my name (even though I explicitly said he was) and gave it to a guy who was on the phone.

Short end of the stick either way unfortunately. Came home and a friend ordered me the japan import

I met my favorite artist, Lights, in person today. She signed my vinyl and gave me a hug. I was looking forward to taking pictures with her, but when we got there they said we couldn't. I was still pleased with meeting her and seeing her perform live. I can't wait to see her the next time she comes to Texas. She said Texas is her favorite state after spending a few days here on tour. I'm sure it's possible she says it in every state, but I don't care. Texas is what's up. My signed vinyl is on my instagram, I don't know how to post the picture here on my macbook from instagram.

Applied for a decent job yesterday, but like every other job I've applied for, I have to wait til sometime in March to hear about it I'm hating March for no reason.

Headache all fucking day. Fucking work no one had any pills or anything so I had to go to a pharmacy and there's only one in like 20 blocks and everything was like 2x or 3x as much as I normally pay ._.

This month has been so stupid and expensive I'd be out of money if it wasn't for my mom that owes me enough to go by until Friday. I feel so cheap asking her for money, though ;_;

Most likely staying undergrad for a fourth year

Plan is to throw on a comp sci minor, take some grad level physics classes and a writing class or two, and re-apply to grad schools next year.
Disappointing, but it's probably for the best.

I hate group projects, or anything to do with a partner, really.

In short, had to design a logo for a classmates' company. This was due on Thursday and we were supposed to give the person the Illustrator files so they could tweak them as necessary.

Class ends, I send her files over facebook. She says she'll do the same.

I leave and receive no facebook message from her that night.

Tuesday rolls around, I send her a message asking for the files.

It is now Friday and I have a Branding guideline booklet draft due in six days and she hasn't even given me the damn files that I need.

Teacher has been emailed. People suck...how can you be so irresponsible when it comes to others peoples' things?

Ugh.

On a brighter note, I've had a lot of fun with my friend staying with me this week, sad to see her go back to Chicago tomorrow though.
