How was your day?

Got my first graduate school response this morning, rejection from UCLA.

Aaaaaaaaand there go my hopes and dreams.

I got the highest mark in my class on my Chemistry exam, 107/110 . If only all my exams could have been that easy....

Money is the only thing motivating me to continue work these next few weeks.

I'm still alive, people. Haven't found a job related to my major since initiating the job searching in November (spent Jul-Oct. traveling!). A little bummed about that, but I'm still sending out applications to internships and whatnot. It's getting deflating recently.

Fun news, though: going to Kansas City in a week for nothing but sightseeing and catching up with an old buddy!

Interviewed on Monday for a full time framing position in my store. Interview was with the district manager. I thought it went okay, wasn't really telling either way. The position doesn't even gets offered to anyone until March. In the mean time, my DM is having me cross trained for framing and getting me bronze certified. So here's hoping it goes well!!

Finished first semester with two 88's (math and physics) and a 91 (chemistry), tempted to ask my physics teacher for an extra 2% so I can have a 90 average first semester. Although now I have to get 90s in english, calc, and bio so I can get a 90 average and get into universities easier. The stress is on for the final stretch!

97 days left until graduation.

Damn that went fast.

I'm so stoked to show her around, she's never been further West than Illinois, so mountains and just everything about the pacific northwest will be a new experience for her.

I really dislike one of my classes. The teacher's a harsh grader and the assignment requirements are pretty damn ambiguous. A classmate of mine got a 66% on her project proposal >.> which makes me feel better about my 82% (but not satisfied with it).

Oh pomegranate, it's almost Valentines day, too. :o

Finally got around to trying the World v World content in Guild Wars 2, thought it was pretty fun. Met some people there who accepted me into their guild and then spent the next few hours teaching me stuff and running me through my first dungeon. Nice people

And my Majora's Mask 3D special edition got dispatched last night! I wonder if it will come tomorrow, that would be cool.

Going to see a comedy show on Saturday with my parents, and on Sunday i'm hanging out with a hot guy playing video games ;3

Also gonna get my hair cut tomorrow, gonna try a slightly different look.

Yeah I've been getting it cut progressively shorter too. I had it really long in high school, but got it cut to a more manageable level once I started working, and I've been having it shorter and shorter since. I guess it's because my face is becoming more "manly" and it doesn't look boyish any more.

So jealous. I imported mine from Japan, so it won't even be released until Friday and probably won't arrive until the month's end.

Waking up early, studying my face off in the day so I can so I can play guild wars 2 at night. Very low stress MMO that can be played by casuals like me.

Gahhh, I had a load of problems with acne as a teenager, persisting until like, last year, where it all started to clear up finally, and I haven't had much problems since.

But now of course, since I actually managed to take the initiative and ask a hot guy to hang out, and since I actually have plans for once, it suddenly flares up out of goddamn nowhere and now I look like crap.

It better clear up soon, sigh. I'm going into the city tomorrow, then sunday i'll be seeing him.
