Rest are 31st pretty much.

Looking at:

You should add UCSD to the list Rolleyes but it depends what you want your specialty to be I suppose.

I am currently trying to get some studying done this weekend but my family is being super distracting... I really miss having a private room to study in.

I'm applying for Astrophysics PhD -- UCSD actually has a good program with some interesting research areas. I'll put it on my list! Deadline is the 15th so I'll have to get my butt in gear.

Ah nice. I know Prof Keating does a lot of really cool work studying the CMB if you're interested in that sort of thing. He seems to be sending ppl to Chile every summer to work on new POLARBEAR upgrades and such. It's produced some very interesting results from what little I've read.

Had my first kiss today. I think I'm pretty terrible at it. Any tips?

Practice Biggrin and congrats. In my limited experience, kissing someone rarely goes perfectly the first time anyway so just work on convincing the lucky person to try again.

Follow her lead is one I often hear.

On topic, I'm scared I'm going to get below an 80 (A in canada) in advanced functions and not be able to get into university =((((. I know I can do it I just feel like there isnt enough for me to catch up and go to 90s range, probably gonna quit my job to focus more on studying, 5-11pm work shifts allow no time for studying on weekdays. I saw interstellar in IMAX (first time Biggrin) thought it was really good. Girlfriend thing is going really well! May just be stupid young love though but I can spend all day with her and still want to just hang out more. Started going to the gym again and I'm remembering summer memories, the pump feels so good, even feeling sore feels so damn good.

All in all life is pretty busy, I kind of miss just playing video games with a group of goons all day.

Sounds like you have some very high aspirations for yourself (which is a very good thing, don't get me wrong), but honestly I really wouldn't worry too much about not being able to get into University because of one mark that's hovering around the 80s. I'm probably not the best person around to tell you this, but having experienced what you're experiencing last year, staying around the 80 range even if a little under isn't the end of the world. As long as you're not taking a dramatic slide with your grades, universities will still want you. So as important as studying is, make sure to have some fun too! Last year of high school for you, that's pretty exciting.

Anyways, me typing that was a result of not wanting to study anymore for two consecutive final exams tomorrow. 8:30-3:30 legggoooooooooooo.

Went to the Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMIX launch event at Disney Studios in Glendale! Barely made it on time because of hella lot of traffic.

The event itself was just plain awesome! Kingdom Hearts' producer from Square-Enix Shinji Hashimoto was there and talked a bit, welcoming everyone, then pianist Livan came out and played some songs from the games. After a few songs, we watched a video showcasing some of inspiration for Yoko Shimomura, who produces the music for the Kingdom Hearts' series, then after a few more songs from Livan, Yoko herself came out and the two of them played two duet songs together. After the music, they did a guest panel with Shinji Hashimoto, and Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura came out and answered a bunch of questions about inspirations for the games and HD releases and such. Finally after a raffle where they gave away soundtracks and Figma figures, they played a few videos they created with fans talking about why they love Kingdom Hearts. But, to top it all off, they played some clips from Kingdom Hearts III!!! Showing off some battle animations, some Heartless, as well as one location that looks absolutely beautiful!! In the end, I walked out with a really nice art print (I didn't buy the game there because I already preordered it from Amazon).

(tl;dr - Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts).

I haven't shaved in 2 weeks. My face is kind of a mess.
Wrote my first exam today, did quite well.

The beard is knowledge.
Keeping it for the remainder of the exams. Like a playoff beard of sorts I suppose...
Anyway, looking forward to being done my last set of exams (ever).

Had a good lunch with a friend from elementary, bought some sour candy and now I'm texting one of the girls in my classes to see if we can sync up our schedules for the winter semester (and it looks like she wants to)
Pretty good day to say the least though!

Very excited to move my journey over to UT, hopefully I can get into some great research groups. Finances willing, I should be making my move to Austin in about a month. So much to figure out between then with sooooooooooo little time.

Now you just need to get google fiber and I'll be infinitely envious of you. Sad Austin is getting google fiber soon!
