I don't know what's going on with me, can't sleep well. No matter what time I got to bed I'll sleep two hours, three at most and then I stay awake for a couple hours until I get stupidly sleepy and I get another 3-4 hours. I don't get tired throughout the day but it's kinda annoying.

Just take a zyrtec, itll knock you out for 8 hours LOL. It's most likely your body has been adapted to catnaps from a bad sleep schedule, you'll probably need help (via nyquil or whatever) to get it back into check

At like 1:30 in the morning, the pipes burst in my dorm room, essentially flooding the lounge and nearly getting to our rooms. Up until 4 trying to keep the water away from the rooms and scooping it up with cups, trying to prevent it from pooling in the hallway.

Of course, this comes on the day I decide that I'm gonna wake up early and go for a run. Of cooooourse.

Washington is truly a beautiful place.

OT: My work is planning Christmas decorations already and I'm so pumped. I think we can bring in our own decorations and I have about ~20 ornaments that I would love to hang up on the tree.

Sounds like my Korean parents. They've never been able to distinguish the difference in pronunciation between 'ship' and 'sheep' since coming to Canada nearly 20 years ago.

Went on a second date last night to Griffith Observatory. Originally, we were going to go on a small night hike, but parking was ridiculous, so we basically hiked to the observatory. Besides that little hiccup, it was a nice night. Next date, I want to plan on a nice dinner Big Grin

Well I had my first date since breaking up way back in February. We went bowling and then grabbed dinner. It was nice to get out and about with a lady again, but I don't think we really had the spark. We've got a fair amount in common and there's an attraction but just no butterflies etc. Maybe I'm just expecting too much too soon since this is basically the second time we've met, though there was a fair amount of texting throughout the week. In any case, she mentioned getting together a group of people on Friday to head downtown to a certain bar famous for it's oldies (80/90's) music so I'll get to see her again.

I have a feeling we'll just end up being friends, but she's helping me finally really get over my ex and that's something I've needed for a long time.

Cetirizine is amazing. Even cough syrups with Promethazine would work fabulous. Mix it with a lil bit of codeine and you'll sleep like a baby.

Warning: make sure you stay at home and dont go for a late night drive or anything cause its gonna be trippy Stunned

Honestly, I wouldn't go into things with the mindset that there needs to be those butterflies or that you can tell where the relationship will end up before it gets there. The only thing that does is destroy the true outcome before you even get there.

Well I haven't had much experience dating since high school and I can't help but compare things a bit with my ex. We managed to click instantly and things got serious fast. I'm not 'expecting' the same thing again or maybe I was just hoping. As I said, I enjoyed getting out and it looks like we'll do it again sometime soon.

Got asked out on a date today, going to see Interstellar on Thursday. Also found out we nailed our Holiday Tour at work today as well, so that's even better. Before work today I shadowed a photographer who does real estate photography, if all works out I'll be joining their team. Got the hookup from a coworker, her husband runs the business and they need extra help. Looking into how I could get paid to work in that lab next semester, I've heard somewhere around $12/hour. If that's true I could theoretically step down from michaels and reduce my hours by a lot and just be a part time framer...

Stillllllllll waiting on my decision from UT though. Grr.

Got an A on my E&M midterm and I couldn't even answer half of.

F'uck yeah public school!

This means I can potentially get a 4.0 this semester Glitter

The girl I've thought of as the prettiest girl in all of my classes ignored the random assigned group method but in the best way.
Usually in that class the teacher orders groups like "1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3" counting the starting person as 1, the person beside them as 2 and the person behind them as 3 and so on. The girl was put into group 4 (there are 5 groups this time around) and I was put in group 3, so close yet so far!
..but when the teacher was talking she came up from the back of the class, sat beside me at the front and asked to be in my group.
