Interesting.. seems like the version exclusives all have mega forms so far (Tyranitar, Aggron, Pinsir, Heracross, Houndoom, Manetric.)

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Starmie/Cloyster megas and maybe even Liepard/Mightyena.
(Or did they state Unova wasn't getting any? I don't remember.)

Funnily enough, it's Pokedex entry states it is "The weakest Dragon-type Pokemon."

Apparently people aren't so sure if it DOES evolve at level 70. someone got it to level 80 without it evolving, the current theory is that it evolves when levelled up in the rain, after a certain point.

Route 14, the spooky swamp with the scary trees and gravestones. You find Goomy in the water, he seems pretty common (at least in my opinion)

Like don't evolved pokemon usually give better stats per level than unevolved pokemon? So the sooner you evolve a pokemon the better its stats will be?
Or am I just wrong, I actually don't really know.

Proportionally it balances out. When they level they get a significant stat boost to make up for the growth. At least Volcarano did.

Kind of, their base stat values generally go up when they evolve, so their stats get an immediate boost upon evolution, and then because of the higher base stat they'll average out to gaining more per level.
