Hey, "Blue Steel" is working for them, and who knows? Maybe they're just working on "Magnum." After all, it does take years to develop.

So much reading. Textbooks, readings, papers, my notes. Going over proofs. I'm actually pretty happy with how things have turned out so far.

Although, I had an odd dream this morning where, for some reason, I was assigned to teach an introductory computer science course and it was like the third week of classes, and I had no course plan and my students were getting super upset with me. It was so frustrating.

Annoying day. Wanted to swap phone stuff, so I called service provider asking for very detailed instructions of how to do it, later I went over to an attention center to do it and nope, I was missing a couple papers so I couldn't do anything. I knew it would happen and I tried to be patient but it only lasted like 2 seconds, the moment the support guy told me "hmmm, you need____"I just exploded, "son of a bi'tch, how can someone be so damn useless?" was my instant reply. The guy stares at me so I try to calm down and explain that I had just called so that shi't wouldn't happen and then he has the nerve to blame it on me. I couldn't believe so he repeated himself and I just went nuts on him. It's just f'ucking impossible to be patient and kind and polite with them. After ranting I tell them that if they're not going to at least admit it was their fault and maybe even help me I will have my mom cancel both our services and look for a better one that appreciates our money and got no reaction. He didn't care. I wasted around 30 minutes annoying different people until a piece of shi't supervisor admitted it was their fault. I understood their mistake couldn't be fixed then so I just left after he admitted it was their fault.

And then nothing works correctly the rest of the day for me and it's just damn frustrating that things can't go right for once.

Tomorrow I must go again to that shi'thole attention service, do what I needed to do there so I can keep my phone number and then call my mom so she can cancel service, at least just mine for now, and go to a new provider that appears to be awesome and hope everything goes decently fine with them (as much as possible, so long as it's better than this). I'm glad it's my mom who's going to take care of cancelling service, with my luck I wouldn't get the guy that din't care about it but one of those f'uckers that keeps going on and on and on about why I shouldn't cancel.

Went to dinner last night with the girl I dated for like 3 weeks, then she broke up with me. I kind of get the feeling that she wants to try dating again, but I don't really feel it.

With careful consideration and lots of planning for months, I have now scheduled and booked flight to see a friend in a far away place. Cannot wait for January now.

Went on my first legit date ever last night. It was amazing.

Unless there is something that your are not stating in that little rant, i want to say you come off as a giant plantain. Unless the guy that attended you was the same person who answered the phone, I see no reason for verbally assaulting him like so. My Girlfriend working in a electronic store and having to deal with situations like this all the time chimed in on this.

Someone came into my work asking about a several hundred dollar bill they got the month before, a couple hundred more than normal. The month before, the guy had been texting his family, and suddenly they stopped responding. After getting frustrated, he finally drove over to find out why in person, and found that they had the same problem, they weren't getting any replies either. After several hours of confusion, they called customer service and found some stranger had gone into a store and switched his line to their phone, without proper validation. In the 10 hours between when his phone stopped working and when they got it fixed, the stranger had wracked up $200+ of international phone calls on his line.‏

It took 2 phone calls and 4 visits to get it done. The guy who finally did everything did it without looking at the paperwork I had to get because...who knows. I wasted money and valuable time over nothing, and it's always the f'ucking same. Not to mention that when you start getting annoyed at them they take this bullshit careless attitude that pisses me off even more.

I don't care if I was an pimento. Any time I need to do something related to my phone I get the same bullshit service and attitude and I have no patience for that. I don't care if it wasn't his fault, its his company's fault and too bad, especially if they can't admit and apologize for it.

As for my day, it was fine. Phone stuff got fixed in 5 minutes, without even looking at all the paperwork they requested over 3 days. Work was awesome, answered calls for the first time and the feedback I got was the best in my group.

Totally addicted to Gemcraft. Ugh. Why can't I stop playing this game?

Spent a bunch of my Club Nintendo Stars and ordered the Super Mario Galaxy CD (worth $44)

Taking the general GRE in less than 18 hours

Not so worried about the essays anymore. They're actually really straightforward.
Pretty concerned with the verbal reasoning, though. Wasn't able to find any way to effectively study word definitions. I've taken two practice tests and I haven't recognized roughly half the words shown.

Really frustrating when there are questions where you need to pick two/three words because I've consistently managed to get only one of the set wrong, which makes the whole question wrong.

At least if I do bad I have another year to retake it.
