as for pinsir, i wonder, the flying type didn't give it many defenses indeed f3, however it only gets hit 4x by stealth rock if you switch him out, and these new "normal moves are now X type" are scaring me a bit because it means a bunch of motherpineappleers are gonna be carrying STAB (and possibly super effective) returns.

You are right, I just caught a Psyduck with Cloud Nine to test it, the effect stayed active, so it's not weather. kind of a shame really, but it's still a cool attack.

I just realized. Rain dish Ludicolo in the rain on grassy terrain with leftovers = pineappleton of healing. Let's throw any of Leech Seed/Ingrain/Giga Drain/Synthesis in the mix...

Mega Pinsar is Bug/Flying… lame. Looks cool though. Bannete looks awesome and Medicham is not bad either.

Sorry but I think Mega Pinsir and Heracross both look ridiculously stupid. Maybe I need to see them in-game for myself to see what they're currently lacking.. But I doubt it.

You can get Mega Tyranitar in Pokemon Y right? He was pretty awesome!
EDIT: Saw Y gets Larviatar, but X gets the stone. That kinda sucks.

Same deal as Houndoom, but opposite.

Interesting.. seems like the version exclusives all have mega forms so far (Tyranitar, Aggron, Pinsir, Heracross, Houndoom, Manetric.)

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Starmie/Cloyster megas and maybe even Liepard/Mightyena.
(Or did they state Unova wasn't getting any? I don't remember.)

Does every pokemon have a mega evolution?
Haven't played pokemon since Platinum so yeah.
