Dragon Nest Social Thread
Finally didn't get bothered to buy NX so my bank hit 30k gold. Decided to try and enhance my +11 cannon

I finished my Soul Eater's Suffix I crafts a few minutes ago:

It's a very nice stat difference compared to before. Now I need to begin worrying about crests and accessories with my armor all at +6 and weapons at +8.

As for my Shooting Star, I finished her level 60 crests yesterday (I need to replace the Quality Ultimate (Level 50) with Spirited or Magical since I'm not stacking FD this cap, but those are cheap as hell and can come whenever). My techs aren't coming so well after the perfect Alfredo Overdrive tech on the first try. Alfredo Tank came out with the str variant and Yum-a-tron came out with magic dmg primary. Still saving to try to craft a Super Ball earring and I'll need to swap the two. My HP varies a lot as well seeing as my Earring and Necklace are Agi/Vit/Para (or some other useless stat) so there's no HP line on them. My tunic is also being stubborn with constant int/vit/HP sparks and my supply of onyx has run dry.

So I went nesting with JP, Wax, and a non-SouthPerrican guildie over the past week. lol 7 minute Prof. K and 10 minute Typhoon Nest runs.

Holy hell, Screamers are hilarious. It is so sad that the NA community in general has written the class off as useless purely because of DDN's 50% elemental resist, because the amount of support and AoE damage they have is just wonderful. Begrudge (the Dark Consercration) + Holy Shield turns the Calamari fight at Prof. K Nest into a joke in particular. JP up there is probably one of only like... 5-10 serious PvE Screamers that exist in NA.

(DDN elemental resist has already been nerfed in kDN by the way. Ice/Light 50% -> 40% and Fire/Dark 50% -> 30%. We're pretty much guaranteed to get the nerfed version, because the devs admitted that such high elemental resistance was a mistake, and getting the un-nerfed version would only serve to exclude half the classes in the game from being considered in a viable party.)
So I recently finally leveled my LK to 50, after a long break (mostly because either my internet was terrible or I just had terrible luck d/cing halfway through a dungeon)
I was wondering what kind of stats i'd need to solo abyss level 50 dungeons without too much trouble. My equipment right now is pretty terrible (51k hp, 30k or so mp, 1.3 - 1.9k magic damage)

-Once during the Landslide Krag part because of monsters knocking me out of jump
-Lastly during Typhoon Krag after taking a Kick to the face at ~2k hp.

On the bright side, the new Memory dungeons have treasure boxes that can randomly hand out perm wings and mounts if you're lucky. Someone in our guild got permanent Dark Shadow Wings from one, which had the same stats as my Black Magnificent Wings.

Definitely worth the 3 runs (one per dungeon) per week for a shot at them. You still get dimensional fragments, crafting mats, and sparks along the way regardless.

Yeah, Ancestral weapons don't go for much. The sort of people who can afford to stack FD in the first place would rather go for armor + L-grade weapons.

So someone gave me access to their kDN account out of nowhere about two days ago. I decided to write up some initial impressions on Assassin skill mechanics, although it's mainly aimed towards PvP players.

Overall, I find Assassin MUCH harder to play compared to Kali and Tinkerer so far. You're going to struggle until you reach level 17 or so. They look like they're a late bloomer class - starting skills suck, later skills get hilarious.
So i haven't played dragon nest in a while, can anyone give me any advice to get back into the game on a good foot? I'm not really sure what kind of gear i should be looking to get (I currently have 1.7k gold, which probably isn't a lot but should be able to get me started), how to make money but i'm just assuming its doing some nests like it always has been, and where i could look up some skill builds and see how messed up my skills are now.

Here's my stat window if it helps any, most of my gear is just +8 level 50 blue gear crafted to be windswept and a +12 level 40 sword.

I think this is a fairly standard build I cooked up off the top of my head. I may have gotten some stuff wrong regarding SM/Warrior skills, but maybe someone here knows better than me about glads. Warrior 45/104, Swordsman 107/107, Gladiator 15/104

As for gear, I think that should hold you out till 55, and invest maybe 200-300g in a full rare set of level 55 equips enhanced to +6-+8. I'd buy a couple pieces of each type and see which one gets highest. And then at 60 we can begin worrying about real gear.

Skill build is more or less fine but there's some tweaking. I think frenzied charge in PvE is completely worthless so you can probably leave that at 1 and then do other things. Personally I think dual ultimate is a good idea for PvE glad.

Just find ashkendor's build on nexon forums. Her 50 build was practically perfect for PvE/raiding.
Frenzied Charge is worthless for PvE until you get the EX skill at level 70, which we won't be getting for a while. After that, I hear it's highly recommended to max the skill.

Screamer changes look interesting, full dark party setup (screamer, majesty, physician, raven, maybe even chars with dark-craft-equivalent jades if those come) looks like a plausible option so long as they don't give the rest of lvl 70 content absurd resist (and it looks like they've learned their lesson from DDN thankfully).
