When you look at the Race Select screen, you see it has "star" ratings. One is difficulty. The difficulty on Cygnus is low, and that of Adventurers is medium. It's logical that a third group would have high. Seems silly to rule it out just because Cygnus only gets 3.

Maybe this new class uses the COMBO system thing.

Excuse the stupid question. But what are Adventurers? I'm guessing it is a class, but other than that I know nothing about them.

heh, at such an early stage any speculation is probably silly. >.<
that said, id say cygnuses deserve a lower difficulty rating than adventurers because of all those nice quests they get and the fact that each one gets very powerful skills a whole job level before adventurer equivalents. up the power level and playing gets easier. if these are supposed to be high difficulty, why so many borked skills? imo, high difficulty is leveling a beginner to 120 without leeching all the way. or any 1st or 2nd job class. not screenbreaker skills that do 4000%... in 2nd job. (eh, i know theyll change it.)

We don't know anything about them yet. They could be MP Warriors for all we know.

They use regular polearms, so they probably need the same stat build as normal.

They modified all the Polearm "afterimages" to be compatible with this new job, including adding ice effects for Charge. It's pretty much certain they use normal weapons, just like Cygnus.

These kinds of things make me wish that at the very least there can be aesthetic changes to older classes. Who'd like a flashier Lucky 7 or Power Strike? They've (kMS) really gotten better at designing skills, power/flavor-wise as well as how awesome it looks.

BEAR Fury, and WOLF Driver. Enough said. Those sprites look like they will take up a 1/5 of the screen when implemented.

*Not to mention a "Shield Mastery" finally done right! Damage reduction instead of this weapon defense bullshit.

If we learned anything from Cygnus, it's that by the time they're done testing they won't be worth playing.

Hmmm it seems to me that it's the dark version of the Soul Warrior from Cygnus. Ice charge, Purple colored attack with wolves, etc...

Maybe it has reversed Cygnus game mechanics, max lvl200, 4th job, 3AP's/2SP's per lvlup? But insane powerfull skills to make lvling a bit easier? Who knows... Tongue
