I've been following her on Twitter, and her explosions are showing what kind of person she is - it is important to take note of this event and to hold her accountable, because the gaming press and the moderators of 4chan and reddit have shown their hand by helping to suppress news of this incident. In fact, I'd say the cover-up has become the bigger scandal than the original scandal itself, in a very Watergate-esque way.

Also, Phil Fish sucks for shaming someone for calling her out on sexual harassment at a friend's wedding. Well, he sucks for many reasons - that's just one of many.

Well, libel can be pretty touchy and anyone not named 4chan is understandably anti-doxxing. To say that they are "in on it" is a bit too far but rather that they are trying to limit the storm (poorly) from becoming a witch hunt. However, Zoe isn't doing herself any favors...

Also Phil Fish convinced me that great devs can be absolutely pomegranatety people and that respect and admiration are completely separate.

Yeah he's only done fez and he completely pooped on every single person who liked and bought fez or would otherwise be considered part of the fez fanbase when he tweeted that he ceased development on fez 2.

If it weren't for him being "a legend" for taking an unrivaled amount of time to make a beautiful indie game that everyone wanted and getting featured in that indie game documentary on netflix i would never have known who he was.

I thought what Greg Tito had to say was rather telling as regards the gaming media's take on Zoe Quinn.

Essentially, they're going to take her side, regardless of whatever research they do or don't do. This is why it's important to mark this event and take note of who is defending who. The gaming press will not hold Zoe Quinn, Nathan Grayson, Joshua Boggs and others guilty of accepting sexual favors accountable for their behavior. It's up to the readers and players to take umbrage.

Leaving aside if sleeping with the people that were supposed to review her game was a breach of ethics or not, I don't get how cheating on your boyfriend with multiple men is not a breach of ethics. What kind of ethics allow you to have sex with multiple men, without breaking off your previous relationship? I do think that is wrong. And whether or not she slept with them so they would give good reviews and the like, sleeping with someone would obviously create a bias. People usually don't sleep with people they hate.

Lets say Politician A and Journalist B are friends. If journalist B writes a good article about Politician A, its unlikely to cause a huge controversy. Sure, some people may point out it is biased, but it is generally accepted. No one would really get up in arms about it. Now, if Politician A had sex with Journalist B, that is a completely different story. It doesn't matter if Politician A had sex for the article or not. A good journalist should step back at that point and realize they can not write anything close to a fair article. Now lets just throw in the fact that Journalist B was married. Oh, and Politician A also slept with Journalist C-F. And they also wrote good articles about them.

Yes, people do get victimized online, and it is a horrible thing. But crying wolf is just as bad, if not worse. While sometimes it is hard to obtain proof, there should at least be an effort made. Anyone can claim they were attacked. Sexism works both way, females should not get a free pass because they are females. And claiming to be victimised when you were not is unfair to the people who actually are. Not to mention you are then victimizing the people you claim victimized you. It's a stupid circle.

thing is that her personal life isn't the internet's business, if the internet is nosy about it then bad for them and terrible behavior of the internet.
