Bikini Jetpack (Flappy Bird-like game)

MuscleWizard Wrote:Why didn't you call it fappy broad

Probably has something to do with the Apple store and how strict they are with certain aspects of apps.

Man... the character control of this game feels different compared to Flappy Bird. More like harder. D:

I never played the other bird game, but this was a fun game for the time that I had to play it (~10 rounds, 5 minutes). Call me lecherous or what have you, but the anatomical physics are an enjoyable and well-implemented aspect and the first few playthroughs might have resulted in premature death as a result of some careful examination, for evaluation purposes, of course. Wink

As someone that is of the probable target demographic, I can see this doing well. I'll spread the word, I'm sure plenty of guys (both definitions) will find the game worth checking out.

Kudos!

Oh, and it's probably the age and (lack of) power of my phone, but I'm having trouble on my G2, but my Nexus 7 is just fine.

If you continually jump upwards it just kills you. Have you considered disabling the jump key after they reach the top of the screen?

Does it really need an exit button? Also, you'll get used to the physics.

Woo! Thanks!

I've tested it out on a Samsung Note 3, Nexus 5, Geeksphone Peak, iPad 3 & iPhone 5. Only the Geeksphone experienced some trouble (lag), but after closing a couple of processes, it was doing pretty good.

Yup, it does. I never actually thought of doing that.

Maybe in the future, I'm going to see how close I can get to the line without crossing it. If not, I'll just upload an x-rated version somewhere else. : P

I'm not sure what was suggested by "death animations" above, but if the game can differentiate between types of death, perhaps you could create a "Game Over" type screen unique for each death; of course, with fantastic art (read: fanservice). Your adult version could include racier fanservice as per VerrKol's suggestion.

That's was part of the initial plan, but I wanted to keep it simple, or else I'd get flooded with ideas and would end up just stacking stuff on top of stuff and delaying the release.

The game's pretty bare right now, I've been getting some good suggestions from people all around, some are good, some are stupid, but every idea is welcomed.

pineapple your pomegranate, Apple.

We found that your app only provides a very limited set of features. While we value simplicity, we consider simplicity to be uncomplicated - not limited in features and functionality.

We understand that there are no hard and fast rules to define useful or entertaining, but Apple and Apple customers expect apps to provide a really great user experience. Apps should provide valuable utility or entertainment, draw people in by offering compelling capabilities or content, or enable people to do something they couldn't do before or in a way they couldn't do it before.

We encourage you to review your app concept and evaluate whether you can incorporate additional content and features to be in compliance with the Guidelines. For information on the basics of creating great apps, watch the video "The Ingredients of Great Apps".
