The Elder Scrolls: Online (TESO)

Enter the command /resetui to unstick, or open the Notifcations window (N). Either of them works. Notifications is the faster.

Things I've noticed on TESO:

* Many times I'll get stuck in the dialog scene when I try to leave, and I have to logout to start playing again. Anyone know a better way to escape this problem?

Could the same be said for this game? Too ambitious?

type /reloadui within the chat it refreshes you and pops you out of the dialogue. Other people have mentioned pressing the mail icon also does the trick, but I've only used the command. Damnit. Ninja.

Sigh. My belated beta ends early - I crashed upon reaching a specific quest area and attempt to login now crashes Tongue

The game really seems to hate you, Eos.

How well I know Tongue

It's actually let me back in finally, I got twenty steps away from where I'd been crashing and crashed. Then crashed again after waiting in queue for an hour.

Such a cruel, cruel game.
But when i can actually play it I am enjoying it immensely.
Until this latest round of crashes from Auridon once I had gotten in I wasn't seeing any of the issues other people were complaining about and the paradigms of game play seem perfectly sensible and fun to me so far.

I frankly don't get the complaints about it not being sandboxy enough or the quests being annoying. They feel pretty comparable to the rest of TES games to me. I wander and explore what I like then partake in area quests at my leisure and mix the two up just fine.

On a side note, going back to Mabinogi after this was unbelievably hard.

It's so sad to see how unresponsive and glitchy Mabi is at such relatively low quality and tiny volumes of usage compared to TESO. Tongue

Did they include when the next beta even is?

What free friend code? :f6:

Read the post here: it mentions it in the second sentence.

Yeah, I also got an extra beta code.
I'm not sure who to give it to.

probably best to make a friend code sign up list in it's own thread.

How long does installation take on average? I'm also getting a "WebQuest Error" message, I think.
Reply

So the installer is saying I don't have enough disk space and that I need to clear up 60 GB of it. Well I have 550 GB left on my hard drive...Anyone else experiencing this problem? :/

EDIT: I just closed the installer and opened it again. It updated again and I didn't get the error.

I've been pleased this time; I was actually able to both login and play. Every time before this it was constant crashing and craziness.

I'm enjoying the changes to the start of the game, especially how my character starts out in Daggerfall (my fav TES kingdom) instead of Stros M'Kai. Smile
