I knew that already, and that situation is just the sun affecting the moon, the moon does not respond to the sun. If the moon was to disappear tomorrow, the sun would still shine.
The moon has nothing to do with the sun and the moon has absolutely no effect on the sun. I do not know what line of logic nexon was using to tie the sun, moon, and a master of souls together.

The reason why I still have a level 10 2-handed sword equipped is because I'm hellbanned. I cannot drop, sell or store items.
I have a level 100 sword lingering around and some other Warrior items. I can equip it today because there is a server check planned that will fix the hellban issue.
I have noticed that there are now Crimsonwood Keep & Crimsonwood Keep PQ map objects present. No idea if it was added in this patch, but the map objects are not in the map data of KMS currently.

but they both affect us/the earth
it still doesn't make much sense for it to be a soul class though.

Best equip I'm wearing is the Lv. 10 two-handed sword.
Oh, thank god. Kaiser is finally not the strongest warrior anymore.

I fear, after nerfs, we're gonna end up with Mihile V2 and by that I mean a class that does not have a feeling of uniqueness. And what is the deal with all of the Hero skills such as ACA in THIRD JOB. Am I missing something here?
They get Elemental Shift like every other Cygnus. Elemental Shift is the 5th fastest horizontal movement in the game. The only classes that are faster are Phantom, Angelic Buster, Xenon, and Wind Archer (I think).

Speaking of elements...do you currently account for physical resistance in your %/s? Ignoring it definitely gives the cygnuses a massive edge over classes that can't, and other classes are starting to get partial ignore for it too (mercedes). Do you think it's worth including at this point? I mean i know it's just...cut the number in half but when/if partial ignore becomes more prevalent it would be good to note, no?

Being reminded of this, I will try to get my Wind Archer to test if its resist ignore affects physical resist. As it stands right now, it's a rather rare thing to have resist ignore, as well as physical resist. A table would just say every class that doesn't have any ignore is trash. If they add variable amounts of resist like defense and increase the amount of ignore, I'll look into it.

You people sure are the kind to see the glass half empty. Who cares about a simple name issue? Soul/Dawn warriors now are far superior to anything they ever were, even Mikhail. I wont say this revamp is the best among the cygnus ones, but it definitely is, at least, on par with those considering there are no hurricane skills or combos that allow the job to move through any map at a ridiculous speed and massacre everything like a joke. There are no lasers either and no wings which where among the top complaints about Mikhail.

I like what I see in this video. Leaving FJ aside, I like the skill combinations, like when the guy is in solunar time and uses Speeding sunrise+ dance of the moon+ speeding sunset, or when he uses sun cross to push them back and then solar pierce. Even if spamming just one skill would be more efficient, having all these skills to combine and play with any way you like makes this class a lot more entretaining. It's like a fusion between Hayato+ Luminous except what's been exaggerated here is not the mobility or the range of each skill
ShinkuDragon Wrote:the name of dawn warrior makes a lot more sense to me than that of soul warrior honestly. before it didn't but with the new skills it certainly does the sun goes up, sun goes down, moon comes out. this class utilizes the powers of the sun and the moon, and it's most powerful when merging the powers of both, which could be seen as the time when the sun and the moon are visible in the sky, ex: dawn.
This is by far the theory that makes the most sense from the ones here. Girasol, if you're reading, please take it for when you bring this update.
Edit: Combo attack might be a glitch. If you watch the video you'll see the orbs don't charge over 2 and they continuously disappear as if they were using a finisher. It's far more probable its just a glitch considering all previous revamps got rid of most skills shared with adventurers.

List of solar deities
List of lunar deities.
You can't deny both have a strong symbolism in all things holy.
Also, as an interesting fact, both the sun and the moon have the same size from the earth's perspective, and that's why we have eclipses. That's a hard to manage combination, treating both as equals before we knew about outer space and the likes.
And the fact that the moon always faces us on the same face helps to think it like that.

What's the deal with their combo attack and all of the sader skills? All of the videos seem to show them with 2 orbs, even during 4th job.

As if it couldn't be any more coincidental, we now have a light version of Avenger.

I just tested it, and Cygnus appear to completely ignore physical resist. This means that Soul Master's True Sight - Enhanced is useless for them, and only helpful to a party.

The original explorers by definition are unique as they were the original ones and all different. Likewise other jobs have been unique too outside of the explorer group.

I'll give you the first part because at the time it was true, however I disagree with the second part.
Some classes have unique gimmicks like the Wild Hunter, but when it comes down all the jobs are alike in one or more ways, imo at least.

It's still true today.
A Shadower is still uniquely a shadower despite being influenced by later decisions through changes of the game state. There have been other unique jobs so I'm unsure why you don't believe so. Despite being fundamentally decayed to a single core class (Thief, Pirate, Warrior, Archer, Magician) many of these new class branches have their own uniqueness to them like Angelic Buster for example. Most of the skills are inherently unique to the class itself and at the time no other class had them. Mechanic was unique as well in its own regard with the whole robotic scheme. Battle Mage was unique too because it was the first melee-like mage. So saying that there are no unique jobs is inconceivable at best.

That's shocking. I wonder if any other game suffers from this issue.
