A) Leveling to 250 will be as impossible as leveling to 200 was pre 3rd-job. Or maybe only as hard as it was pre-BB. People will be leaving for private servers in droves. Isn't that what BB was supposed to cure? Didn't Nexon decide Maple needed to appeal to the masses, not just the grind-addicts?
B) The new "high level content" will include areas/bosses/quests that give mad experience. Then everybody who's 200 (or close to it) now, will be 250 in 2-3 months, and whining again about the lack of content and being bored.
So, umm... what, exactly, does this new level cap solve?
I'd prefer if there was some impossible level to reach. Getting to 200 is far too easy now, I miss Pre-E.X.P.losion days.

16 trillion? Welp, looks like I will never get max level even after having played MapleStory since GMS v0.02 Beta.
at 1 million exp a kill, if you were to kill 3 mobs per second it would take 61 days to get from 249->250. (I forgot a part of the calculation lmao, was WAY off before.)
So they quite literally HAVE to introduce new training areas with mobs that give way more exp than we've ever thought possible, otherwise it'll be years before someone hits cap. That calculation I made assumes playing every second of every day of those 61 days, so....yeah. Not going to happen. And that's just for the last level.
Is there any source of this exp table being right? Because i couldnt see it anywhere.
Sorry but i dont believe on the table being right because the first two levels share the same multiplier, it could be wrong like the old exp table that was posted a few days ago.

There's no confirmation set for 202 ~ 249 TNL requirements. All of this is based on the difference between level 200 to 201's and 201 to 202's TNL requirements. Dividing 201's TNL requirement with 200's TNL requirement gives a number of 1.2x, which was used to calculate these estimates.
Again, there's no confirmation on any of this and it could change.

Ok thanks. I asked because apparently everywhere people said that this table is 100% right but i couldnt find anything confirming it.

Completely off-topic but OMG I FORGOT ALL ABOUT HIMES! ~.~ I need to get over there and start grinding...

I am totally fine with that.
I mean, yeah sure the game should appeal to the masses, but without that one almost unreachable level there's nothing to look forward to. Not to mention, if they made the exp gap between 249 to 250 wider, Nexon would make tons off of 2x exp coupons and... whatever else you can use to get more exp. And, as we all know, Nexon's all about the money
Satellite Wrote:I wish they would make you not lose exp when dying past 200. With that req exp losing a few % is already a big loss.
I would prefer to be able to do root abyss without the fear of losing over a billion in exp.

I'll check the count later.
I did it as well -- I came up with a different value. 100,413,504,118,391 EXP.
I wrote it with this code:
Spoiler
Code:
int main() {
long long tnl = 2207026470;
long long total = tnl;
for(size_t level = 201; level < 250; ++level) {
tnl *= 1.2;
std::cout << prettyprint(tnl) << '\n';
total += tnl;
}
std::cout << prettyprint(total);
}

Please note, I think using these values to formulate an equation is absolutely moronic and it shouldn't even be used as a basis for the future levels. Nexon Korea has some strange wankery with the EXP tables such as 5 levels being the same (70-75, 120-125, etc) so using two levels as the foundation for the other 248 levels is quite dumb and a very bad way to extrapolate, especially with something as dumb as a 1.2x multiplier. If I get more values I can try a regression type model that would probably fit better -- but as of now I consider these values to be absolute trash.
