June 2010 - also known as pineappleing hideous

One day, I got so mad at my ugly that I cut my bangs, thinking it would help

Eventually the bangs grew out and I looked better (May 16 2012)

Experimented with braiding (April 16 2012)

(I remember taking that picture. It was the first time I felt pretty.)

One day I found out about hair curlers! Omg. And then I pushed my bangs to the side. (Aug 6 2012)

(I THOUGHT I WAS A GODDESS asdfhjkl; you have no idea how happy I was of this picture. Also omg it's the same shirt as the first pic.)

Me one year ago, and me today

I'm happy with my change.

Also bonus. My glasses always seem to be misaligned. (2004)

Thank you. But I have to say, attempting to look better made me more confident about my appearance. I understand what you mean- if I looked the same back in 2010 and just accepted my appearance for what it was, then it was enough. But to me, I couldn't feel beautiful until I made myself it.
