Read all three lines. I'm fairly sure of my answer given that the mushroom monster I'm thinking of is hurt by a spell equivalent to Cure, has risen from beyond (Death) to maternity (Mother?).

I'm pretty sure your right, for some reason i thought it was Anthony, the guy in Edelstein's daughter, but thats not right, its Albert's daughter who was kidnapped.
