Hm, I wouldn't say you should drop them. If I were you, I'd make a brand new account and if you can't sell it before the SC/Patch, then simply transfer it over to the brand new account. If it's not removed, you can still try and sell your item after the SC/Patch; if it is removed and the account is banned then you won't need to worry since it was a new account.

I smegaed and warned Bera earlier after some asshat was trying to smega sell some gear. I guess nobody was kind enough to do that for your server.

This should be a banning spree instead of a deleting spree. There's no way to get these items at this time, that means it's literally impossible for anyone to have them. Anyone who does is cheating. Anyone who bought one without doing their research first before buying one at over $150 deserves to be part of this group, it doesn't matter anymore.

These people should all be banned. Every. Single. One. If you have Tyrant gear, goodbye.

Too bad Nexon's GMs seem to be completely miserable and stupid. This guy who is a well known hacker in Yellonde (now in MYCK) got perma banned on most of his accounts. Great? So it seemed at first. But no! He complains to Nexon about the bans and gets back his accounts filled with HUNGREDS of duped GM scrolls, illegit items etc. I mean, ARE YOU PINEAPPLEING KIDDING ME NEXON? He doesn't even try to hide his work, all his characters have the same name, he runs illegit services for real money... At the moment he's wearing full Tyrant gear.

I believe the game would suck about 100% less if at least some of the staff actually played it and levelled like the regular players. For example, no one in my previous company would sing praises about our product as they actually used it and also called customer service but actually using it like everyone else (Albeit with subsidies) means that they're more aware of the product's faults and benefits so that makes them far better at problem solving than those who never used it, making idiotic judgements as a result.

Mind you, anyone thinking that freeing an account with illegit items is a pineappling idiot anyway regardless of whether they have experience or not.

It is pretty amazing how the best-known and most-hated hackers of every server manage to easily get unbanned whenever they're caught, while script-kiddies, small-time exploiters, and actual legits get perma'ed and never given a chance for appeal.

I think in these situations, the magic word is *sue*. Threaten to sue, and even if you're guaranteed to lose, the legal fees involved in getting rid of you is far more than Nexon likely wants to spend. Unless you're causing Nexon to lose sales, I doubt they will accept those fees and opt to just let you back in so that they don't have to. It also doesn't hurt when said scammers and cheaters are buying cubes and stuff themselves, especially if sales records show a lot of purchases.

Unfortunately, especially when we're talking about Nexon, it all boils down to money, and banning costs a lot when lawsuits are involved.
