Wii U Discussion: Super Mario 3D World out in all the places (that matter!)

None of the launch games or coming soon games hold much interest for me so holding off buying one won’t be a problem.

Bayonetta 2 being Wii U exclusive is a bit bizarre but I’m happy Nintendo decided to publish it so there can be a sequel.

Does anyone know if Wiiware/Virtual console games can be played on the wii u gamepad?

I was just thinking, I feel like I would get a lot more use out of some of the games I have (Like the older FF games) on the gamepad, where I couldn't keep my interest up while playing them on a big tv.

GAME and Gamestation are trying to sell Wii U for £260 (Basic)/ £310 (premium). Thats equivalent to 32500/38800 Yen, or $420/$500

They're essentially trying to charge MORE for the basic version in the UK than even the premium version costs in Japan and NA. And Japan was already overpriced. Man, pineapple the UK pricing schemes, and the EU union sueing nintendo for "pricefixing", causing them to not dare to announce a real price, and leave it up to retailers, all of who can take as much of a profit margin as they want, because we aren't allowed to know how much they are buying it for

I wish that solved it. I looked through all my normal online retailers, and the best price right now for the two versions is £247/£296 at shopto.net.

Which is still $399/$480. Hopefully some price warring goes on, else , lolwiiu.

Heyo, the Wii U UK trade prices have apparently leaked. That was fast.

"MCV understands the trade price for the Basic Pack is £205, the Premium Pack has a trade cost of £246 and the ZombiU version (which includes the Premium Pack and a copy of Ubisoft's horror shooter ZombiU) has a cost price of £270.

If it's true, that means the Basic pack isn't likely to drop below £246 (Base price + VAT), and the Premium isn't likely to go below £295.20 (again, base price and VAT).

Right then, Nintendo can go pineapple themselves n_n. I'll see you in 6 months once you have to price drop AGAIN Nintendo.

Well, I'm buying the Premium edition with Super Mario Bros U at launch and Darksiders II, after that Monster Hunter Ultimate. First time in my life that Nintendo games aren't the reason I'm buying the console lol, because I'm actually buying For MH3U (And the possibility of MH4 HDver for Wii U) and Dark siders II. Super Mario U is for my little cousin who loves the koopas (the first time he played with me mario and I killed a koopa he cried and told me why would you do that (he was 4, now 7)). And nintendo land is the new Wii Sport and I actually like the Metroid world.

If Nintendo keeps this route they'll probably return to their former glory. Still Waiting for Star Fox U.

I want to see if I can get one at launch or if I'll have to wait until Christmas. At any rate, I'll definitely go for ZombiU first just because I'm so excited for that game.

Not much more bizarre than MH3G and MH4 both being 3DS exclusives(when they were announced). Nintendo is really trying to make sure "hardcore" gamers stay with their systems after the whole "Wii/DS is for kids/casuals only!" spheal.

Also, the Wii U version of MH3U is just being called MH3G HD Version in Japan, from the logo I saw. That means there's not going to be any more monsters, because MHP3rdHD didn't feature anything actually new either. So we got MH3G.

People are motherfucking retards who lose their pomegranate because they can't get what they want where they want it. Reading a few gaming sites as a Nintendo fan just makes you hate gamers as a whole, because they're so goddamned stupid. Also, Nintendo's kind of an easier target with them releasing their next generation early, meaning they have to take all the pomegranate about their platforms being "current gen", which I think is bullshit and enough to bash someone's head over.

Anyway, I'm interested in seeing Wii U sales numbers after launch. Gonna see how many people buy into this.
