Yes, that's the thing. Jett himself is not getting any love or attention because it is a scapegoat that is seen as a "content pusher". This is why no one will enjoy it and why it has a backlash, because like I said before its timing is bad.

What you're stating there sounds like a big assumption. We know nothing about it yet, for all we know it could turn out as a class with such mechanics that make it more atttractive than any other we have right now. We don't even know if pushing any content back yet (it's taking the place of the Thief/Pirate changes, which could come along with it) so disliking it doesn't really make sense.

If I were you, I would change the timing of Jett arival's argument for the possibility of it being, just like dragon warrior, a mere package of all the changes meant to Thief/pirates wrapped in a "new job". The fact it uses guns doesn't look promising... at all

He already said that the fact they're releasing absolutely no info is only making people more anxious and on-edge. The only thing Nexon is doing is releasing stupid little animated trailers with terrible jokes and humor fit for children. Not exactly a good way to hype people up.

Well that's true, those trailers totally suck, and I'm not one to really hate on stuff I don't like.

Animations ought to be cheap in Korea/Japan with so many studios over there. Nexon could have requested a job from one and dubbed it

Why oh why doesn't Nexon America even bother waiting until they release Thief/Pirate update, Phantom, and Aswan is beyond me and everyone else that want the updates.

Does anyone feel like the prevalence of the Jett in Nautilus Harbor just means she borrows some power from them or some animu-bullshit like that? I am imagining Dragon Warrior as an awkward mashup of both pirates so I image Jett will be the same way.

That aint just in you head, it is a simple fact.

Jett is a pirate, of that I am certain, and that is why they show her landing by the Nautilus. I would not be surprised if Kyrin is her job instructor in the name of streamlining.
However, I do not know if it is such a cheap arse rip-off class as the Dragon Warrior.

Cody tells me that you will only be able to make a Jett class character on the first Saturday after the patch goes live, from 0600 PST to 1800 PST. So, yes, it is an event class.

Heres how I see it.

If no one knew about the Dragon Warrior class;
"Ooooooo, this looks like it could be cool! But I want my revamps now!!!!"

If no one knew about the revamps;
"What the hell?!?! This is just Dragon Warrior with laz0rs!!! Why dont they just give us dragon warrior?!?!"

If no one knew about the revamps OR Dragon Warrior;
"Gah, where is all the content?!?! Why isnt there anything GMS exclusive!?!? complaincomplaincomplain..."
