Expect a patch after the weekend if they're aware of it.
What does a rollback have to do with nx? They don't lose the money from it and I'm pretty sure that they don't give a pinapple about our complaining seeing how they care about only money.
At this point, the money's already in their pocket. If they really cared, why did the pull the "have a 3-day sale, then have increased rates of going up a rank 3 days later" bullpomegranate? Next they'll be ending sales a few hours after they start because once the people leave the register/order it, nexon has the money; they can't be bothered to give two pomegranates about how we spend the nx.

Confirmed they purposely do it.
What a pomegranatety company.. in every possible way.
This is why I rarely buy nx.
EDIT: To add on to that: ' Wrote:In recent few years, NEXON starts getting somewhat greedy. It seems to have forgotten what really matters in games is to serve its gamers at its best. Rather than putting much of its energy into making games more fun and interesting, it's concentrating on squeezing most money out of young gamers' pockets. Due to the change of its focus, it failed to produce successful games for the past two years in contrast to its early days. In recent few years, it's publishing games made from external game studios rather than making its own.

Unless Nexon rolls back or patches the item spawn hack within the next couple of days, the game won't be a "game" anymore. It'll literally be the same as a private server, more so than it already is. Only 4-5 people tops even have this hack, and it's already out of control. This is more than an item exploit, it's also a meso exploit since they just need to mass spawn high priced NPCable items and sell them to an NPC.
You know man, I know it is Nexon's responsabilty to keep a very cautious eye over their games and take care of these issues fast, but those acquaintances of yours seem to do nothing other than dig for the slightest opening to screw up this f'ucking game. People can't really blame it all on Nexon and complain this game is going to hell when you got a bunch of these plantains working to the sweat to destroy it all the fucking time, it really infuriates me

You don't think people constantly try to do stuff like this on other MMORPG's? Of course they do, but the companies actually care about it and prevent it or stop it before it gets carried away.
Nexon currently has an exploit being abused that lets someone create any item. And by any item, I mean every single item. Even a 200m NPCable coin. Yes that means 10 coins and you have 2b. If you thought the price of meso was low at $1/100m on sites, it's about to get a whole lot worse and Nexon is either ignoring it or doesn't even know it's happening.

You'd think at least one of those would be willing to come forward and an interview for us, or maple news, regarding their experiences and what advice they could give to players.

Fairly sure they'd be under NDA upon termination, no?

Not asking them for industry secrets. If they could say the things they did on glass door they could answer my questions, and the interviewee always has the power to refuse to answer anything they don't want to or feel they can't.

I did, have been, have been trying to. Wouldn't be surprised if Savage was likewise.

Why would they not? If they're on NDA during the job about job operations, they very well could be afterwards. Both of the most recent companies that I've worked/working for required me to sign such a contract.
happylight Wrote:Sign this NDA or we'll fire you! Oh wait...
The termination NDA contract would be signed upon starting the job.

Not to mention the threat would be punitive damages and messy legal proceedings, not something as silly firing.

So guys, I'm thoroughly convinced if you continue to play after this, you're not only masochists but now sociopaths.
SERIOUSLY.

I know this happens in every MMO, as it does in every society in RL. My point wasn't if Nexon was responsable or not, but that you can't blame it all on Nexon when you got these leechers digging up the slightest opening to blow down the game all the time. Just because a crime happens all the time doesn't make it any more acceptable, just because Nexon sucks doesn't give them the right to screw up their property and get everyone else involved to crash down with it. If Nexon is to be hated for being incompetent, these guys are to aswell if not more for being nothing but parasites.

Would a job at Nexon require a contract though? (this is a genuine question, as I've no idea which jobs would and wouldn't require a contract)
