Same issue with duping. No one says Nexon shouldn't patch duping completely; they're just saying that since they're taking so pineappleing long, maybe they should get rid of the items meanwhile.

Good, so you should know just as well as I do that this kind of company would NEVER do what you suggest, which is wipe and clean each result caused by this problem (Dupe) one after another, no matter how hard it is to solve. It's a damn game, they get billions and, fixing Dupe is the least they can do, as well as it's their damn job. What you suggest they do is rather stupid, a backdoor, not a solution and clearly inefficient.

Once again, you're missing the point entirely. Maybe you didn't read my post; nowhere did I say that the dupe itself should not be fixed. This is the proposed plan that Nexon should follow.

Step 1: Work on fixing dupe.
Step 2: While they're working on that, wipe all the broken items.
Step 3: Finish fixing dupe. Release patch.

Or, we can extend the metaphor to a well-known disease: AIDS.

Step 1: Try finding cure.
Step 2: Feed anyone with AIDS a drug cocktail that will not cure them but will make them live longer.
Step 3: Find cure, cure everyone.

uh a day after Mercedes were introduced I came back to Maple cause a friend showed me his and I liked it and figured I should give it a shot. Because if they choose to pursue the dupe problem, they can get it right, so asking them to work on backdoor solutions simultaneously is pointless and if anything will just give them the excuse of taking even longer to fix the root of the problem because they "show the community they DO act on it"

The difference is that removing duped items might make people less inclined to buy them. People don't like having their gear wiped periodically. And if people don't buy them, hackers will stop duping them.

I'm glad they did another round of deletions. I'm still annoyed at the way they handled the sss situation, but this is better than nothing. Hopefully they can get around to deleting the shoes, earrings, and other accessories that have been duped to hell and back. Also, did anyone else skip mr.-I-only-post-in-bold's comments?
