Assuming the Meteo's mp cost is the same, max mp increase isn't higher, and they don't get more hp per level, there's no real risk of the flame magician replacing f/p, so I wouldn't worry about it. They also only have 42% of their damage redirected to mp, so they're even more fragile than normal mages. They also can't max amp until basically the end of 3rd job, otherwise they wouldn't even have enough mp to even cast their Meteo probably.

After carefully reviewing these skills... I want to see the other classes. If these "knights of Cygnus" classes out damage their lvl 200 classes... SCREW PIRATES, IM GONNA MAKE AN ARCHMAGE AND WAIT FOR... KoC!

Also these classes will have the AP of a lvl 144!

6 x 120=720
720/5 = 144

Soul Blade is awesome, but i don't like anything else rly of these jobs. i just wish Soul Blade existed in regular Warriors. i honestly don't like the Order of Cygnus in general.

These jobs are much stronger than other characters their own level, but someone in their late 130s/early 140s is just as strong/stronger because they have almost as much AP and 4th job skills, which do kick the new skill's asses.

No, as it stands a level 100 Soul Master outdamages all other Warriors. They only need 80 SP to get every damage bonus of 4th job warriors except Berserk.

I guess it's less noticeable for an Arch Mage because they're already so much stronger than warriorsTongue

Not sure why you think this is true. Their Combo is weaker, their Brandish is weaker, and their Adv Combo is weaker. Sure, they receive them in 3rd job and have more AP but that doesn't make them stronger than a 200. A level ~140 Hero win that comparison.

Actually, I don't understand how you even have numbers for the new Combo's damage. The 220% damage on the current Combo doesn't mean anything. The actual damage increase turns out to be 40%. I'm sure the new Combo has even less of a boost.

Fiel didn't post descriptions, he posted the actual skill numbers.

The current combo is 120% in the data, the soul master combo is 200% in data. I don't see how that could possibly be weaker. It's probably a mistake they'll fix, but for now they are obscenely strong.



Let's assume it gets made actually weaker - that is, 160% advanced combo with 10 orbs, instead of 190% (ie. drop the bonus for each skill from current combos - 110% and 130% instead of 120% and 150%). They'd still end up with a higher multiplier on their Brandish than current Heroes. A 120 would still be equivalent to a 156 hero in strength.


One other thing to factor in is that they can have more w.atk than their base class, since at most they contribute 12 atk while they can gain 20 atk. Not really so significant though.

Oh yay, at least the new Warriors didn't get Hyper Body or some weird pomegranate like that.. I see elemental-advantage (sorta), and new Sword attacks, along with a stronger Combo, etc. They DO look a hell lot stronger than your typical 3rd job Warrior.. I don't even want to imagine a godly funded one that's DEXless.

The F/P+Cleric hybrid SUCKS REALLY BAD, LOL. Flame Heal? Oh, ok, so it's a Heal that's effective to Ice types and damages them. Disregarding the fact that they have Meteo at 3rd job, and a shitload of %-resistance with their Partial Resistance, they aren't that great. First off, no Bless or HS, as I can see so far. That and no Invincible, so they can't reduce more damage. Priests will still be needed in parties, enough said. As for F/Ps, that, I'm not sure of.

Ok, so I've seen most of the skills for all 3 classes, only one that's left is the Thief one, which is the one I fear seeing the most. Because I really don't want to see some new class with the ability to use TRIPLE THROW AT 3RD JOB. >__> If that's the case, I hope it's nerfed like crazy! So far, each individual classes is using a 4th job gained from their parent. ._.; SP at 2nd job? TT at 3rd job? Venom at 3rd job? WHAT? -hopes the new Thief class sucks balls-

How about savage blow with shadower partner =D that'd b HOT!!

12 hits stacked high lmao. In private servers when you use SP + strafe, it would go 8 attacks high. I don't think SP works with melee attacks though.

We don't know what that partial resistance blocks. I vote everything, because their Magic Guard sucks.

Also, I assume Flame Heal hits all monsters, regardless of type. It should deal decent damage to Fire-weaks, and awful damage to other monsters.

Oh well, it's not like they're playable at this point, and nothing is set in stone yet.
