Except, you know, that I can't fight 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Oh, and you know, I also can't vac all the items to myself or monsters to myself. Oh, and also, you know, that I can't hit every monster on the map all at once. Oh, and additionally, you know, that I can't farm several channels all at the same time. But yeah, small difference between me and a botter, quite so. I think the problem is that you're a bishop, and you were used to being basically god at skeles. Alas, that is not what this game still is. Sorry, you're living in the past.

You're talking about the instructors right? They drop capes and the ring? From GMS experience, the instructors don't drop anything. We in Contagious suspect that instructors start dropping some recipes after Jump.

Sarah Wrote:A rare drop is a sweet prize.

Not....really. Then botters are primarily the ones that get it, legits.....no. Legits train where good exp is. How many legits do you know that train where bad exp is to get a good drop? I don't know any. Not one. Everyone I know buys anything they need in the fm, like mastery books or gear or whatever.

How do you think the kMS-ers get it then ? -.- They dont even get to know inadvance and most of them got it. *facepalm

I wasn't really saying any monster in particular, I was just saying that the only recipes that exist are for the capes and the ring. And that since the Empress is undefeated, and I see armor but no weapons, I assume that she probably drops weapons.

They also had years of ores that didn't have a diminishing supply over the past 4 months.

Also, tespia. They knew in advance.

True.. =( ToT will be full of botters, not even legits will have a chance. It's been months since I went to kill Dodo for Helmets/PoT's.....

You're quite delusional.

I've grown tired of this argument.

So, was it a bad idea to sell off Evolving Rings?

But their 'source' is 100.1% reliable and they know it wouldnt be a waste to start collecting in advance. Unlike gMS and any other version for that matter, cant be 100% sure they'll be getting the same event. Like how maplesea never got Evo ring I T_T

also just get the Angelic Blessing then >_>

Crit ring, Angelic blessing, Evo ring 1, Evo ring 2 is also a good combination.

GMS event going to another version isn't the same as a KMS event going to another version and we're more than justified to prepare for it. Just like you're justified to tell us "you didn't know 100%".

And no, it isn't a good combination. DAB gives over +1k range. Anything less is unacceptable. I'd rather have nothing on my 4th slot.

Angelic Ring sucks.
1/1/1/1 no HP boost iirc and 5 attack.

How much range do you get from Evo rings, out of curiosity?

Afaik, their ores didn't stop dropping several months before Chaos patch hit. In GMS, ores were removed from drop tables. Huge difference on that count.

Right, ok. I saw a vid somewhere that had kms instructors dropping gear. I don't remember if it was 130 or 140, I think it was a hat.

Thank goodness.

Index Wrote:So, was it a bad idea to sell off Evolving Rings?

Well, with items like that, that tend to inflate a bit since they are really pretty decent rings, so yeah.

Angelic Blessing
Ring - All Classes

Req Level: 30
STR: +1
DEX: +1
INT: +1
LUK: +1
Accuracy: +30
Avoid: +30
Charm EXP: +30

Compared to

Dark Angelic Blessing
Ring - All Classes

Req Level: 70
STR: +6
DEX: +6
INT: +6
LUK: +6
HP: +100
MP: +100
Charm EXP: +80

There's a pretty huge difference.

Dropping a 17 for me goes from 51901 to 50861. LF> 1k range back.

Takebacker Wrote:What the hell are you talking about now? I'm pretty sure killing monsters non-stop 24/7 gives them an actual chance of getting the recipe compared to me or white who can't even kill monsters for longer than 20 hours at MOST. There are 168 hours in a day.

Nevermind the fact that botters kill 10x faster than us by default.

@ iamfear: Yeah, this instantly voids anyone's chances of getting the white angelic bless too, WHICH I ONLY JUST FOUND OUT EXISTED TODAY.

this has absolutly nothing to do with the probabilty of the recipe dropping the % chance of it is still the same...

That wasn't the point to begin with. Botters get more ring recipes than legits. In this case, the recipe dropping at all is 100x more likely for them. To argue against that would be the stupidest thing in the world.

It doesn't matter if the % chance is the same, because getting one on my own isn't going to happen. Maybe if i were a botter.

The % drop is the same. So the elusive not-so common sense tells us that whoever kills more, over a long enough timeline, will get more recipes.

Okay since the idea isn't getting through your head, let's do it this way.
You can kill 100 monsters per hour. Drop rate is 1 in 7000 (0.0000142%)
You play for about 6 hours a day and kill 600 monsters for a week equating to about 4200. No drops.
A botter bots for 24 hours a day and kills at an upgraded rate of 150 monsters per hour. Bringing up that total to 3600 monsters that day times 7 times a day for about 25,200 monster kills with a 1/7000 chance meaning on average they would receive 3 drops, while you have 0.
