Is Maplestory "Cheaper" then before?

Wrong. Wrong. And wrong.

Instead of dismissing it so ignorantly perhaps you could enlighten to me how I'm wrong. I can 100% guarantee the game is a lot easier to be successful in by putting money down. It also makes training quicker, (granted if both parties one hit monsters, at that point it doesnt matter). I mean how you can argue how power has no affiliation with training is beyond me.

That's funny, because I don't ever recall saying that I didn't care about progression.
Then again, I'll assume you're playing devil's advocate just for the hell of it considering the multitude of times I've seen you whine that end-game content is bare-bones.

Stereo already stepped on my point, but I'll reiterate anyway:
There is only progression to a certain point. After that, the game stops offering anything worth chasing.
As I said, there's no real progression if you haven't opened any new doors.

Saints Row 2.
Pokemon Black.
WarioWare.
Mario Kart.
Modern Warfare 2.
Just Cause 2.
Wii Sports.
Kirby's Air Ride.
Rockstar Games Presents: Table Tennis
Super Smash Bros 64
Sonic Advenure 2

Yes, this conversation is most definitely set to swerve greatly off-topic.
Yes, all of my suggestions are trick questions.

KhainiWest Wrote:If there options that accelerate my leveling faster, money faster, which allow me to get necessary skill points, than it's more valuable to me then, let's say, questing for defames.
I should note that "your" is not specifically referring to you, but, instead, referring to Maplers in general as a universal "you".
...ya know, just like you told MetaSeraphim, "The point is that just because you can do something doesn't mean it's worth your time."
I assumed those were meant to be universal 'you's only because I trust you're not daft enough to suggest that you know what is more valuable to him than he does for himself.

Therefore, your completely subjective opinion as to what you find more valuable is completely irrelevant to my actual question. My apologies for not being more specific earlier.

KhainiWest Wrote:Maplestory holds accomplishments, goals, and progression, it may waste reality but there's an alternate universe, thus making it a role playing game, where efficiency not only exists but should be exercised to the best of your ability.
The importance of which are all completely subjective.
Also, an alternate universe does not imply role playing. Proof of that lies in the fact that plenty of people act no different in Maple than they do in real life.

Now, should I expect that the fancy words any veiled tautologies to end?
Cause I'm kinda still waiting for you to show how you can be universally more efficient in a game where individuals form their own goals.

KhainiWest Wrote:End game content as in being able to tap into your characters potential, which could be as late as 17x in some cases. It's not smart to waste money and double the effort when alternatives exist. For example, getting enough damage to solo a boss, efficiently. Damage does matter, experience matters, all because of skill points. An above average player could get past the gritty part of the low levels because he has enough funding to accelerate his growth of his character.
Tap into a character's potential in what capacity?
When you say 'money', to what currency are you referring?
What's your definition of 'efficient' boss soloing?
What do you consider 'low levels'?

Their are a lot of subjective terms in there that can't be blanketed over all players.
The only point you discussed that I can respond to using such limited information is the level bit.
With the on-going pattern of Maplestory's 'growth', the easiest way to push past "low levels" is to wait a couple months for a ridiculous new training area to open up.

I'd also say that referring to "low levels" as the "gritty part" is rather pessimistic.
Being a game, I'd hope that those who play would enjoy every aspect in which they participate.

Because he still cares about entertainment.

Why don't you just go to basil if you're going to troll?
