[0.98] Cake vs. Pie

The conditions for HT to drop items are either
A) Defeat HT within any time frame with 6 or more surviving members
or
B) Defeat HT after the required time frame if you have less than 6.

Since the ticket system is glitched after 30 people have signed up, you have no choice but to do B.

They need to just get rid of the ticket system period and get rid of the drop timer period. Both of them were implemented to reduce hackers. Neither of them did its job as hackers still kill HT and get drops.

What're the conditions for cht? I was told that both conditions A and B had to be met, A being 12 members and B being 1 hour.

If those shoulders are time-limited, that would be such an epic fail.

There's a part of me that wants to give credit to nexon to not time limit items that require such an obscene number of insignias, but I also know it's Nexon we're talking about.

Asides from that, there's far better shoulders in Chaos anyways, so there's no point in even limiting them if they get replaced relatively quickly.

Those are exactly it. More specifically, 12 surviving members at the time of CHT's complete death.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Resistance was disabled right before Chaos in KMS as well. It seems Nexon forgot to disable Evan, though. Unless Evan was never disabled in KMS.

Bearwolves. EXP. HP. What happened?

I've noticed that Bearwolves give less EXP than before the patch but seem to have less HP; I know these patches only catch new monsters and I was curious if you could relay any changes in those values?

Its like a regular shop, i checked it out in tespia.

What this means is that they can't send a packet to the server containing a specific item ID, meaning they can't meet the criteria for one item, then send a packet to get a different item as a reward. The devs must've realized this was a potential problem and changed it to prevent this issue ^_^

PS - Anybody wondering why I lurk on *those* kinds of forums I ask kindly that you not judge me. Playing maplestory is like stock trading; you want to know ALL factors, not just the ones presented to you by your close friends, but also the secrets divulged from your friends by your enemies.

Visiting a hacking site does not make you a hacker just like visiting a porn site does not make you a porn star. I've visited hacking sites, and there's nothing wrong with saying that.

Good to know that there won't be any hacks this time go around. It's been a while since I've heard of an event not getting blasted by hackers.
