Oh crap, just realized. Everyone go buy a 2-liner version of your end-game equipment while people are still unaware of this incoming addition! I'm sure prices will rise after this patch hits, because I guarantee a whole bunch of people will be taking advantage of the Hyper Cubes for their 3-liner instead of paying through the nose buying from other players.

Honestly I don't see this being used for everything.

4k nx a cube.

Let's just assume it's 20% rate to up the # of lines. I think that's pretty generous as I've heard it's really on the chance of 10%.

On average, you're looking at about 20k nx/item. A rough estimate is maybe say 10~30k nx each. So people are probably going to pay out 200mil~600mil to change the number of lines

Other things to consider

- If you already had a 2 line item cubed to unique with stats, these cubes are gonna change those stats. So you're gonna have to pay extra money on top to get your %s back

- Except in a few cases (e.g. Extremely hard to get items like lunchbox, branch nose, CHTPs, etc), it will be more cost-efficient to just keep trying for 3 lines off the bat

- I made the assumption of 20%, which is pretty high, so the money detailed above is actually a lot less than probably the true value

As for what the real % is, my best guess/theory is that when items drop or are potential'd, there's a certain chance that they are 2-line or 3-line (I think this has been estimated to 5~10%). That's probably the same % used to change an item from 2line-->3 line. This guess is based on the fact that changing something to epic/unique is similar/a little better than finding epic/unique from a drop/potential scroll

Those supercubes are ridiculous. Why can't it be 10k nx for one cube with 100% chance? Paying extra for a tiny chance at an upgrade is just stupid. especially since other than that, it's the same as the normal cubes.

I would assume this as well. But I'm pretty sure the 3 line chance right of the bat is 20%.

Only hardcore players are gonna use these cubes on already unique 2stat items that have a good potential (15% of a stat, or 30%boss). Would be pointless to use on any clean equip that isn't a cHTP or shi[tty potential unique 2line that's been scrolled. I don't see them having that much of an effect on prices of anything. Nobody is gonna go spend 4k-20k NX on a clean 2line VSS to get it to be 3line.

A miraculous cube that resets #cthe potential and the number of potential stats# of a piece of equipment.\n#cIt can only be used on rare items#.

So my unique 2 lined ele staff 7 is no good for this?

30% scrolling is back

they could also just lower the damn prices for each of them because of the ridiculous amount needed to even get to the next level of potential...

Or at least an ingame option like turning in 2 70% potential scrolls into a cube or something. Would make for a decent trade.

Or you know. The whole CS trade room would solve all this.

I think i rather wait for the stamps :O

Spadow Wrote:On that day MapleStory’s Cash Shop will also mark the arrival of two stamps.
The Golden & Silver stamp of potential. It can affect the lines of the potential stats. What I mean with this is that it can change from 2 lines to 3 lines at a certain success rate.

Golden Stamp has a 80% success rate and the Silver Stamp has a 50% success rate.

Regular cubes say the same thing, so cube away.

I think the person is referring to how most people who finally manage to get a 3 line item, don't wanna risk booming it. People with 2 lined items are more likely to use something that could boom their item, since getting the item back is much easier.

10 bucks says that they'll forget to put in the success rate for these cubes. Sort of like how they forgot to make dews drop for non-warrior adventurers. ALL THOSE 2X DROP CARDS YOU BOUGHT!? OOPS! YOU'RE NOT GETTING REFUNDED TOO BAD!

Wait 5 patches later, "oops, premium miracle cubes now have a chance to upgrade from 2 lines to 3 lines! It's very low chance!"

I saw in the patch notes that the Gachapon Boxes are coming back. Does anyone know what they contain and the prices of the keys?

Is it wrong that I'm the only one posting about how excited I am that Pam's Song is coming back?

I just find it as an overpriced white scroll. Who on earth would spend 130,500-145,000 NX to make a perfect weapon. On top of that don't forget about getting all the pinks.

The good stuff always comes out later, haha. Least it's better with a pretty high success rate.
