And I really doubt that they made Konoha resemble the old Konoha THAT much, but I guess that's up for debate.

While that image you posted is before Pain invades which would support my theory, it's true that the kid is too pineappleing big in the latest chapter for him to have been born/grew/that picture taken before Pain came.

I don't think so. I think that must be an image Shikamaru is remembering after this kid is born.

Edit: I'd also like to note that on the same flashback page Shikamaru is like "Choji stop being a peach and hit him, do you want to watch Asuma kill his own kid?"

Totally sounds like the kid is born. It might not be, but I'm betting that kid is born.

How does that have anything to do with it? When Asuma was dying, he already knew that Kuranai was pregnant, and told Shikamaru to protect both her and his kid. Hence it was a future image, something that has yet to happen, as the panel was still gray like the rest of the flashback.

That could have been Shikamaru's flashback of something HE remembered. Asuma didn't have to have that image.

But agree with Solic, that pomegranate is a plothole, one of the many.

^I probably misinterpreted you then. This chapter was pretty cool. Finally going back to naruto again. Apparently Ino can now control 2 bodies. Or a theory is that Zetsu, while having multiple bodies, still has a hive-like mind which could technically be controlled by ino's jutsu then. If only Ino could solo the thousands of Zetsu's with this.

Kabuto has the ability to fully control his puppets, erasing all memory, emotion, etc, but for some dumb reason it seems to totally slip his mind until the puppet is already trashed up, or about to be, so it's like, ''Oh yeah, I can totally control this guy, why didn't I do that from the start?! LOL my bad guys, my bad, I'll do it right now hold on. Oh, oops, cellphone just rang, AFK real quick!''

It's because he can't keep 100% control of all of them due to the massive amount he has summoned. He has to focus on them to keep them fully controlled.

Because there's been a few times where he implies he could have put them under complete control at any time, but chose not to like an idiot just to try and get information, though what kind I'm not sure since it's not like he really gets any village secrets out of anyone or whatever.

He never shows that he can't control them because of any limitations, he just chooses to try and do it when the puppet is losing already. I guess it's really just one of those things you shouldn't think too hard on or else the whole thing seems crappily done as far as creativity goes.[/COLOR]

It is said in the chapter where edo tensei is explained that Kabuto needs Orochimaru's chakra from Anko to strenghten his edo tensei binding power. This kind of tells us that his binding power isn't absolute. Not to mention that focusing on all of those summons he has must be incredibilty difficult. I was very surprised myself that he could summon this many. I mean he has like 30? Good luck keeping track.

It's not a flaw of the jutsu, it's the flaw of the user. Taking control means taking direct control, meaning Kabuto would have to micromanage each zombie which frankly, is impossible. He'd much rather do what Orochimaru did with the first 2 hokages and just give an overall command to the bodies but not directly control their movements.
