and knowing what i do about the way obama has talked about treating the withdrawal, they'd be as good as dead and i'd more than likely not see some of them again. right now, with most of the fighting in afghanistan. i dont have to worry quite as much, and i can know that at least on base theyre pretty well fine.

not all are in iraq though, not all are in combat situations. still doesnt change the fact that obama is so incompetent when it comes to the military that i'd feel better for my buds with mccain in office. at least he'd have some idea what to do and what not to do to keep our service people alive.

Listen, buddy, if a person wants to threaten to leave the country, they shouldn't be here in the first place. You want to leave, then leave. No one cares if you want to leave, particularly when it's empty threats anyway.

That's all I'm saying.

Clinton was impeached for lying under oath. He broke a law in doing that. What law has Bush broken?

Notice also that Bush willingly invokes the concept of the unitary executive theory which, in his interpretation, says that nothing he does as commander-in-chief can be against the law because that would be "unconstitutional" 8)

Here's your proof:

The Senate hasn't even came up with a punishment anyways, so we'll know what happens to him after the elections are over.

Don't speak (or appear to) for all Americans. That's all I meant because I can't see myself telling a disgruntled person to just get out for making an empty statement.

Yes because nothing sends a better message to everyone fighting terrorism and dictatorships around the world like the world's greatest military force running with its tail between its legs. A majority of people in the Armed Services are proud to be fighting for Democracy no matter what you are hearing from certain sources, who say "all the soldiers hate Bush and hate his presidency, etc"

As a Marine (and good friend of mine) said, "those are the idiots who joined up during peacetime, and they are being a bunch of cry baby faggots because instead of sitting on their asses and just doing PT every now and then, they actually have to fight a war. A majority of us, and those who joined up post 9/11, knew what we were getting into, and are trying our best to finish the fight. Am I saying we all wanted to stay this long? HELL NO. Im sick of the hot pineappleing desert. But no matter what, the President is my highest authority, and I swore an oath to follow his every order."

They are still protected by the Secret Service and have as high of security as the President himself

I'm just wondering, is it possible for you to NOT be a dickhead to everyone? That comment was uncalled for.

Well, to bad that I already saw it huh? Changing it doesn't change the fact you're being rude and it's uncalled for.

ANYWAYS, back on topic.

I wonder how the recent Palin report will affect this campaign?

I could have supported McCain, but after I saw Palin make multiple circular arguments that were so easy to find and led nowhere, I don't want someone that inexperienced potentially controlling the US should McCain drop dead. Being the governor of a state is experience, but Palin is out at Alaska, not in the lower 48 where most significant events happen. I've never even heard of her before McCain chose her as VP Candidate.

Offtopic: Multiple people made these arguments on why they support McCain-Palin. I'm not saying everyone who is Republican is like this, but when they still think Obama=Osama, it just points out how ignorant some people in this country are.

Yea ok....^^^^ It wasn't directed to him nor was it really offensive. It's offensive because I like Mexican food, bottled water and want to see a donkey show? Excuse me.

ANYWAYS, back on topic.... That video was very disturbing. It's a shame that so many people in the country are that ignorant. I wonder if Obama get's elected what those people would do.

B/c they still have that mind set of "every person with some type of Muslim affiliation( be it name, nationality, religion) IS a terrorist Rolleyes." It's pretty sad. I really dislike it also when I'm hanging out with Arabic friends and I get ridiculed for it. There's even an Islamic school over by me & after 9/11 happened & STILL to this day people have been sending notes of hate to that school..It's pathetic.

And somebody is supposed to know this HOW?..Besides, Carlos Mencia was the one who talked about the donkey show among other things in his show. So lighten up..

Edit: And i'm pretty sure that's what Katiie was making reference to in the first place...

Edit 2: WOW, I've NEVER seen that air! and I watch both sides of the campaign whenever they come on. Props to McCain for setting the record straight to the ignorant.
