It doesn't matter what server it is; an event like this makes bossing pretty much impossible to do until the event is over since people will start camping at old bosses again and there's always someone killing. Last year I only managed 39 tokens because A) it was annoying as heck to try to find a boss and B) getting the mini-boss to drop a token sometimes was aggravating. I got a hat for keepsake, then stayed AWAY from that event. Bossing was impossible, and though I only play in Windia, it's not hard to think that if all the trouble I had was worse in bigger servers and probably equivalent in minor servers, there's no point in suggesting a server change.

See... even if that was true, changing servers just to get event tokens is stupid, to put it bluntly.

You do realize the "Dark Token Fiasco" pretty much made people not care about bossing for their tokens, because most players were able to get multiple 6-10+ atk belts duringthe time frame the Jr. Newts were dropping them right? My BM sister was able to get a few hundred last year, because hardly anyone hunted.
I'm pretty sure it'll be different this time around since everyone will be forced to hunt bosses for tokens this year.

the only other bigger server than yours is scania. bera's just on par or below windia now.

I got almost all of my tokens last year camping Zeno. Kill all 19 channels, afk for 45 minutes, repeat. This process got me around 25-30 tokens every 45 minutes. It was probably the easiest area boss to control, because few people hunted him. However, you can do this with almost every area boss, as long as you know the spawn time and stay on top of your tracks.

I disagree. In Khaini and I'm sure elsewhere too, area bosses were being camped nonstop, since Newties only dropped the tokens for a few hours.

If Neo City bosses drop tokens, then it'll be pretty similar to last year's newties in the sense that anyone has access to a virtually limitless amount of tokens. Granted it'll be a ton slower and the rewards won't be nearly as worthwhile, but it'll take away from the competition over free spawning bosses.

bossing tokens were a really bad idea. Sounds good on paper, but terrible when put into action. 19 channels for the most popular server and millions of players looking to get the same thing that required a lot of tokens meant that this event was hell on earth KS the hell out of everyone boss hunting. It wasn't "fun" and it wasn't "productive". The whole reason people chose to ignore the event was to avoid drama; and drama in a populous server is terribly bad. The only reason i got tokens was because of the newties glitch, and i only had them for nearly 2 hours, enough to barely scroll a 4 atk belt. If they provided a way to get the tokens not from solely bosses, the event may mean something to people who can't spend the entire day camping at the boss sight every 45min-1 hr.

I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm saying it's just not worth the trouble. Even then, asking for a server transfer JUST to boss makes everything useless, since you basically lose your bossing cnnections (if you had any) in the server you left. It should not be my fault that i can't participate in the event simply because i inhabit a server that is overly populated, especially when i started before the populaion spiked.

Huh, interesting. Then again I assumed too much as I never bothered with the event. I kinda went based off my sisters' and their success with dark tokens. All I did was farm the frog and cat bosses for Witch Brew materials.

Even then, I just want them to drop it. There's a few area bosses that I farm late into the night since no one bothers with them after a certain amount of time. So it's more so a back up case if anything.

Neo city, VPQ (3 bosses in there), toad boss, samurai armor, Czak, CHT, krexel if ulu city is released while the event is still going on, and more i'm probably forgetting.

Not to mention WAYYYYYYYYYY less demand because witch belts/scrolls aren't a reward, but they could easily add that in if they wanted to. I hope they don't. I want my belt to climb in price. ^-^

I'll just consider this thread a Halloween-event related thread, so.

I was bored and decided to check out what happened to the Haunted House. It would seem that the Butler, Steward, can let us access Olivia's room again this year. On the other hand, there are no quests involved so it's kinda pointless. I'm not quite sure if we can enter the room if we missed out on the quests last year, lol.

Not only did that event completely suck in every way possible, but they even re-used it.

At least last year they did give us some "Masteria" content (even if I keep not considering it an EXPANSION). This year they're going to re-use everything, so.. I guess they probably already gave up about it.

Update: You had to do the quests last year, and you must have a party of 3, just like last year.

Neo city, VPQ (3 bosses in there), toad boss, samurai armor, Czak, CHT, krexel if ulu city is released while the event is still going on, and more i'm probably forgetting.

all of the bosses you've listed are major assumptions. the only two that are close to guaranteed there are czak and cht and even then it's not certain. they obviously put the drops on bosses individually based on the newtie glitch rather than making them drop from all things tagged as a boss. for all we know none of those will drop coins.

On discussions about server size: The most valuable boss drops (mastery books) can't be traded via MTS, so there's no point in moving servers to boss now that scrolls have collapsed. Might be slightly easier getting into a HT run if it's not being shut down.
