GMS makes thousands over thousands of $ per year, yet the game is falling down

I think you need to clarify that part. Do they loose players? Not more than usual. Do they make less money? No way. Have they been sloppier than usual when it comes to running the game? No, it's the same caught with their pants down situation as always.

I am not debating wether potential system is a money making strategy or not, i'm debating the why they wanted to make that money. GMS makes thousands over thousands of $ per year, yet the game is falling down, while on the other hand KMS uses that money to developt their game and make it more attractive in to the actual gamer. Which one seems worse to you? Given GMS uses the money to buy new content from KMS but whats the point of adding content over content if you cannot sustain it.

Also, if you had 2 complanies and one of them required an investment, you wouldn't take money out of the one thats running good to put it on the other one, unless it was strictly necessary, which is not KMS's case.

This. From this point one year ago GMS has really improved themselves. Sure, customer service is bad, but as an overall they have gotten a lot better. And please don't use the recent problems like rollbacks as proof they suck or something. It's not really their fault hackers are purposely crashing the servers just to dupe their items.

Every version makes mistakes. BMS and KMST leaking important server files anyone?

I was going to be disappointed but based on what Slip has reported this is really relieving. Good to know GMS tried to make this event good.

i dont think GMS has to "buy" content from KMS because unlink most outsoruced games GMS and KMS are still under the same company.

Not to play devil's advocate but didn't someone say that this was only stage 1 of the event? Doesn't that mean thai can still get all the other stuff spaced out every couple of patches?

But either way, I'm still excited for the new patch. Gives me something to do, other than train, and gives out great equips. The rings are much needed for people who missed the adventurer ring event ( >_< worst time for me to give up maple for a bit) and allthough some of the stuff expires without putting in some work, anything that can make your event item perma is infinity better than an event item that just dissapears after a week...

They suck because there patching content that's also going to be available in another version? i don't get this logic lol especially when u add in that there actually testing it with the public and added in a lot of there own stuff

yes and cuz they allways suck never got back 3 hacked account and 1 false hack ban + they deleted my account from after beta just cuz it wasnt active for 1 month assholes + cuz it got false fly hack somehow

Yea I think that's where most of the stuff comes from. Stage 3 and 4.

I don't understand why everyone is peaching about this patch. Half of me thinks it's because they think that their precious equips are going to be outdated. News flash, your equips aren't going to be outdated. And even if it does by happen by chance that the equips are actually better than one of your equips, then go get the dam thing so you will become a bit better at training and bossing.

The other half of me thinks that people are upset since this isn't a masteria expansion. Ya it isn't, but come on. Did we really expect them to go all clock and dagger on us? They would have hyped us up, gave out cryptic hints, and do anything in their power to get us excited so we would buy nx for the upcoming patch.

I still hold faith that masteria isn't dead. It's been what? Last October since we got an add on to HH? That ain't long people. Granted, the HH quests sucked hard, but at least they still added some perma content. I'm going to wait till the end of October to see if they add any content to masteria. If it doesn't happen by then, then maybe i'll start saying masteria is dead. Until then, I'm going to hold on to my faith.

i think since i started playing maple, july 2005, all version somehow copy+paste everything, since its the same game.
one of the version will actually have to make a new content, and the other version to decide if it is worth copying or not.

It's best just to ignore it. It makes less logical sense than Nexon and the people who have been complaining about this content put together.


Anyway, I am impressed that NexonNA took this content and shined it up a bit. Shows they still can make something creative if they want too.

All right, I will accept my opinion is biased by the fact they stole over 1 billion from my friend with a hell ban, they stole 3 adventurer's rings from myself as well as hundreds of millions of mesos and items from many guildmates with the scheduled roll backs, the enhancement scroll glitch, the pink 2 handed weapon scroll glitch, the duping (which all of it didn't come only from roll backs or crashes), the server crashes, the huge lag and the so many hackers all around that have even got to mother pineappleing oblivion 4 with their vacum hacks. Yah, the last patch really pineappleed up this game. I forgot to mention my face still hurts after the huge slap it was stealing all those mesos with the excuse they were not legit and had to keep the economy safe, just to release in the same patch those mesos bags that gave up to 750 mill.

But all of that is meh. I consider that, even when it's not nexon's fault that there are people hacking, its their responsability to take care of it and to test their crap 1000 times until they are sure there are no glitches on the content they are gonna release. Every one makes mistakes, even nexon(s), but it's the size of their mistakes what matters and people will remember

Yeah, yeah, there have been some major screw ups recently. But like I said all the blame can't be pinned on Nexon alone, a lot of it was because hackers were trying to break the game literally and Nexon tried to do something about it. Keep that in mind, they actually tried to fix the problem instead of ignoring it like most times. Sure it could have been handled better, but until someone makes their own game and has the same things happen to it and handles it better than Nexon did no one should say they could have handled it better like they know something.

Nothing's new then. Dragon Ball event from ThaiMS, Visitor Event is from ThaiMS, OSSS quests from ThaiMS.
God, they reopened Tespia after years just to test events from ThailandMS...
