Since when does a class "gimmick reward" account for the class itself?

I will agree that this is may be a cash-driven ploy to recoup some of the players they lost to hackings recently, especially since the earliest I would have expected this to occur would be at least two patches later, given the lack of pre-quests (next patch) then Evans. This also brings apprehension since rushed things tend to come out badly and this is as rushed as it would appear.

However, I cannot deny that I have been looking forward to them even though I know they are still only mages, so with this news, I am pleasantly, though cautiously optimistic.

1. Platinum Scissors are more expensive than regular Scissors.
2. You have to be level 100 to get a 2 attack 4 matk 2 stat 30 MP/HP glasses.

How is that worth it?

I still haven't even trained my Aran past 50 because the class seemed too boring to me. I never really liked melee classes, so maybe I'll make an Evan mule for blessing instead. If balance patch comes with this, I'll have no reason to continue my Aran since the adventurer rings will come out as well (though it sucks that I'd have to make a new adventurer to level 80 in order to get the ring I want...they really should have just made it so that if you're above 80 you can select your ring of choice when talking to Maple Admin or something).

somewhat disappointing launch for the job. if it wasn't bad enough with the glasses to just encourage everyone to dump them at level 100. releasing the job at the slowest time on the game, school kids will make one for spring break and dump the job. given from what I’ve seen of how the job progresses they encourage people to stop the job when its at its most annoying stages...

aran didn't even get 4 months before the next job hit, im guessing the turn over before the new thief job hits will be obviously shorter (summer or anniversary) T___T

also kinda kills any hopes for inflation... people with wep attacking mains aren't going to spend much on the job, ele wands already are cheap as hell, minimal influx of users who are seriously going to be funding/playing a new char in march... how far will most spring break players get on the job to warrant any real funding spree? @___@

They don't have any Poison attacks. The best one to get would be Fire.
