That's normal. Though the way you are approaching your own situation is rather . . . creepy and eccentric. Look. Put it this way. If you were to approach a random chick on the subway station and just ASK for a hug, I'm sure she'd be uncomfortable. Same for a friend. Unless it's a really close friend, then it's different. I hug my friends all the time, but that's because I've gotten to know them really well, so I bond with them rather well.

Get some chicks in the friend-zone first, get to know them, let them know you. Be kind to others, you'll be treated the same.

But why...?
What sort of reason is there?

I'm straight.

Death123141 Wrote:I'm straight.

......That isn't a reason as to why you would need to hug someone. Being straight means that you can hug girls in an affectionate way without being labeled as gay. It doesn't mean that you have to.

Why do you feel like you need to?

Im guessing he likes the feeling of touching a warm blooded animal.

yo dude, are you for real? I'm trying real hard to take you seriously, and from what I understand, you're contemplating suicide because some broad wouldn't put out. Snuggle? Be "neer" somebody? First of all, no high school chick is gonna want to suffer sitting through a 90-minute movie with a guy that's paranoid with the thought of everybody in the world hating him, and if you by some miracle find a female friend in your current state, they're not going to want to SNUGGLE N CUDDLE~ they're gonna want to see if you're through with puberty, because most fifteen-year-olds aren't.

Stop worrying about getting a girlfriend and ask for a fleshlight for Christmas. Set your priorities straight, because not having a girlfriend shouldn't result in eternal loneliness. Sorry if this sounds a little too blunt, but it sounds like you're lacking some real life pals to help you out with your relationship issues. I may be wrong; there's nothing unusual about asking an online community about relationship advice, seeing how it's a lot easier to talk to people that you don't really know over the internet, but all this SO RONERY talk isn't healthy.

I'm sorry, but......seriously?

You don't have a gf. That's not the end of the world. You're what, 15? Why the heck would you even think of killing yourself...?

I'm depressed and I have no friends close to me to help me through it.

My best answer for you is to not try to get into any "intimate" relationships if what your going for is just affection. Just befriend some girls and you'll be fine. Crossing that "friend zone" is likely the most beneficial thing you can do at your age in my opinion.

I have quite of good friends that are female, and usually they'll hear me out if something comes up. We also play around affectionately, but not intimately, because we're such good friends.

I doubt friends will be able to do much about your depression anyways. Let's say hypothetically you had close friends, what would you want them to do for you? In fact, what can friends do for you that a family member can't (for your situation at least)?

I don't think that by having a girlfriend or a close friend will magically cure your depression. First off, why are you depressed? If it was because you are lonely, then wouldn't any person suffice? And before your first girlfriend, were you depressed? I highly doubt a girlfriend is the only cure for your depression.

How did you get your first girlfriend? I'm sure you didn't just sit at home, and she ended up waltzing in there asking you to be her lover. I hope I'm not being too harsh, but no one in the world can give you what you want other than yourself.

I'm depresed mainly because I have no friends almost no one to talk to and get almost no physical contact.

I was depressed my gf and we went out because she started a friend ship with me and it went on from there but she pretty much ended up hating me later on.

And I think a gf or a friend that would let me hug/snuggle them would help as I would feel like some one likes/wants me.

Well would you consider this a conversation? You could easily do this on every online forum and I'm sure by the end of the day, you will have way too many people talking to you to even respond. When you say physical contact, I'm assuming you mean hugs and stuff. I'm not sure if you are a fan of pets or anything, but they always seem to help people I know with similar problems. They also have the ability to make you feel needed, since you need to feed them, tend to them, and take care of them. You can also hug them, if it's a cat or a dog or something large enough that won't die.

Alright, this topic is just awful. Death, you just don't seem to get it. Every relationship you could possibly get into will inevitably fail because of your "need" to touch. That isn't what friendships/relationships are about.

It's even worse that you've got people here giving you terrible advice on how to get what you want. Mostly because you shouldn't be getting what you want because it's not what you need and it's just going to fuel an unhealthy mentality that relationships need to be physical, and that you need to be touched to be loved. You don't. But even more, you shouldn't be dating because you're clearly not stable. Why do any of you think it's okay to coach him on making someone else miserable? Nothing he has said here is healthy and some of you seem to be completely disregarding it as if it's nothing. It's not nothing. These are the sort of thoughts that grow people into psychopaths and rapists. I've been trying to be nice but it's infuriating that not only does he not get it, but no one else seems to either.

You say you're getting help but clearly you're not addressing what's important here, or if you are it's not sinking in, which judging by your responses I would say is pretty likely. If you want to touch someone, get healthy first, because you're not entitled to it. It's something you need to earn, and you can only earn it by being objective. Obsessing isn't objective. Get help and take it seriously before you degrade any further.

Is wanting to just hug/snuggle with some one really unhealthy?

Alright you're clearly a troll.

Dude, if you don't have friends, it's obvious you can't get a girlfriend. It's like leveling up, ya know.

Level 1: Parents.
Level 2: Siblings.
Level 3: Neighbors.
Level 4: Friends
Level 5: Girlfriend.

Go get a friend before a girlfriend.

BombsAway Wrote:Alright you're clearly a troll.
Disagree with someone? TROLLING.

Anyway OP, straight guys can hug guys too you know. They're bro hugs. And I think you should work on making connections and socializing with some guy friends first. Because in your state, you're obviously nervous and can't bring yourself to a girl. Hugs are spontaneous and a gesture of connection. If you lack connection between male friends, you're getting way ahead of yourself wanting to hug chicks. Go make a guy best friend and start sharing things.

So asking a question makes me a troll?

How about the fact that you keep saying the same ridiculous thing over and over, getting all of these really ridiculous responses. This is what trolls do. I don't believe for a second that you actually feel this way. I gave you the benefit of the doubt but it's very clear that you're not sincere.
