grats Asiasoft, hacked once again after Episode 2
#61
To be a bit clear about this, that Dark Magician picture only appears to exist in the MSEA circle because there is now a new fan-art contest. It has nothing to do with Aran at the moment like whoever jumped the gun suggested.

Back on topic, it really sucks that MSEA is starting to get hacked again. It appears to be starting in a way similar to what happened last year too. It's really starting to look like some kind of inside job.

Someone over at the AsiaSoft forum mentioned something about how during this time of the year, they do some kind of spring cleaning thing with company data, and they let a third party handle it. Is this right?

I apologise, for hijacking the thread with my Aran Post.
Everyone, please stay on topic.
I still dont understand why is everyone so uptight about my One aran post. I only meant that it was a hint by The website
*cancel*As for Alilatias, nice to see you being active in the asiasoft forums!*cancel*
And no, 5 people got hacked so far( known to be or said). Hope It stops there...

Theyre just shocked a.k.a jealous.

The rankings are down for ages.. i dont see any relations to website and account databases now. Im guessing faulty sql commands.

changing password results in deletion of all items ? Biggrin loljk.

Anyway, most hacked players say they changed passwords rght before they got hack. I think they just say they changed password to make people think they have security while actually they didnt do anything before they got hacked. I got hacked like twice and changed my pass twice only. This topic has too much madness. =[

I said we have the same security level, not exactly the same site. GMS has security holes that on a normal site, like southperry for example, would result in epic destruction. its pure luck that nexon do things in a specific way that renders these holes useless.

Whats really scary is that the page to log in to redeem cards does not appear to be secure

just because its not using the https protocol doesnt mean its not secure, unless you are using it through a proxy or someone is logging your router. Ive checked it multiple times, seems to be fine.
