 My first successful pinning of Bodyguard A

Too bad this bowman is so damned weak. All clean equips, Lv 27 SE and 3 hurricane (wtp?).

Several things I forgot to do:
1) Take off soul arrow so that my red arrows would work.
2) Cast Phoenix
3) Bring more MP pots.

I died trying to recast bow booster. I tried doing this before puppet ran out of time (which was stupid for me to forget) and so Bodyguard A kicked me and I got stunned and run over. Nonetheless, I survived for five full minutes.

Countless seduce attempts which failed (pro tip: Recoil Shot away from Raika to be out of the seduce range)

2nd Try Raika surprised me, it was all of sudden behind me after I climbed up, seduced and again boom dead.


Judging from this it takes a while until Raika actually attacks you because at my first attempt it did 5 seduce's until it managed to seduce me, and after the Seduce it started with the magic attacks. Body damage is 4600 btw. Imo a very interesting boss, but; how to avoid seduce (except for staying out of range)?

Stay on his left. Raika's seduce make you run to the left, so by doing that you automatically stay out of his range.

My 5th BG A solo. Finally got my second tie pin. That black jew doesn't drop it often. Yes, this is on 4x exp. BTW, I was at 0.02% before I killed it.

It took 76 minutes with just Cider and my 22 attack Conc.

How do you rebuff without it running over you or you having to recorner it again?

Cuz it killed me when I tried rebuffing. =/

Also, why don't you kill BG B? Even though it's bigfoot typed bug, many Bowmen still manage to solo Bigfoot.

It's not hard...just have to learn how to boss with a Bowman. You buff, attack, buff, attack, etc. You can't do all your buffs at once or you'll lose the pin. And if you're ever wasting time casting Bow Booster, you're dumb. Only use buffs that help you.

It may be like the BF glitch, but BG B is in a whole different league than BF. It'd just be too hard to solo as of now.

Pretty much what Felix said. Only buff when Puppet is out. Re-pin between all buffs. He never reaches you or attacks you if you do it right.

And yeah BG B is much worse. BF you can at least keep in place for a while. BG B makes about half of your arrows miss and gains a good 200 pixels on you every time. Also the fact that he has 500m HP and half my stuff is missing is discouraging. I'll do it when it's fixed.

Because it IS glitched. A little after its KB frames it's invincible for about 1.5 seconds.

Has nothing to do with this thread - Al doesn't hack, even if he did in the past. Stop referring to his rank status every time he makes a post, it detracts majorly from threads and starts arguments.

OT - I refuse to do anything BG or Grandpa boss related, so I have no knowledge of any glitches. Ah, to be a class that actually has some use beyond buffing in a boss fight...
