I haven't played with you in forever. I seem to remember you not staying safe as Ashe, but why this is, I am not sure. Could be anywhere between tunnelvision, bad reaction, bad awareness, or failure to recognize what champs can do to royally fk you up.

inb4 same / similar response from Kaji to me. Tongue

It's weird and definitely a practice thing. I'm just fine mixed up with a crowd of people on Singed, for example. Melee/tanky DPS is my least played role and I pretty much start at square one when I'm on a new champion. Like, my map awareness goes out the window as I try to learn the nuances of laning with that champ. On the other hand, my map awareness is strong when I jungle Trundle but my ganking/being at the right place when I need to be there is quite bad.
I guess I should be thankfull noone thinks nasus is particularly good, because it probably means he won't get nerfed soon.

Also, srry @ corn and connor, my router had the router equvalent of a heart attack.

I play Ashe once every... ten or twenty games now, lol.
Ever since I started playing ap and ad laners in ranked I've been carrying. Probably because a bad jungler won't feed the pomegranate out of the enemy team as often.

pineapple that Kennen. Acting all high and mighty when they won a 5 vs 4.5. We had TWENTY KILLS OVER THEM. pineapple KENNEN DONT' SAY SUCK MY COCK ALRIGHT?
Today I just witnessed why people hate GP so much. He did 75% of Sona's health in one shot. Could have easily followed up with ult and killed her, as if my Koggles wasn't enough for her to deal with.

+2 net elo gain today. Saw a duo Annie who was 1260-ish elo in a 1420-ish elo game.

Anyone have any thoughts about rushing Wriggle's Lantern on Kog?

No problem. Happens to us all at one point!

I don't won Kog personally so I can't say from my own experience but I saw an enemy Kog build Wriggle's and he was a solid carry. I'd say it's a good choice for laning phase for farm, lifesteal, early game armor and of course the active.

So I can't decide on who to buy next. I'm intrigued by Trundle because I rarely ever see him and I could use another jungler other than Nocturne, Fiddles and Udyr. Is Trundle a viable pick or is he underpowered?

Trundle requires a strict rune set up to achieve his optimal jungle clear time but is definitely viable.

IMO I would get a couple of your core items first before getting Wriggles.
WillDaSnail Wrote:IMO I would get a couple of your core items first before getting Wriggles.

But doesn't that kinda ruin the purpose of the item, which is having an easier time laning? Its stats are too low as well so it needs to be sold later on. It's not a good idea to get doran items mid game either so I don't really see the point with waiting here. That aside I must admit that I'm not really that knowledgeable about playing Kog so I suggest you should just try it and see if it works for you Smile?
I love Wriggles. Best cost efficient early game item in the game, and it works for nearly every AD / "Hybrid" champ.

Ah okay thanks for the info. Might get Rumble instead then because I don't have a spare rune page to dedicate for Trundle.
Cait skin update - free promotion with the us magazine, but will be instore at a later date

also states that Winged Hussar Xin actually came out for polish closed beta.

The need to sell an item only comes when you're running out of slots, which is to say maybe around 40 minutes if you're doing extremely well.

The point of Wriggle's Lantern is to ease the laning phase. Kog'Maw's main harass is his R and his BAB. Since BAB is an auto-attack, this will grab minion aggro, and this is frankly annoying to deal with with most any ranged AD champion. Other than his R, the long range non-auto-attack poke is Void Ooze, but this shyt is expensive for a good reason and leaves Kog OOM faster than anything, other than R spam. I don't know how high elo handles playing against Kog'Maw, but a good Void Ooze + R to remove grass cover lets you BAB the crap out of most champions. Throw Q in there and you can potentially wombo-combo squishies to death.

Ashe has less harass options, and she's even squishier than Kog'Maw (by a small margin) with less options of a revenge kill, so getting Wriggles on her is pretty blah. I imagine Caitlyn has similar amounts of harass potential as Kog does, but I haven't played her much. I'm wondering if Wriggles is an okay thing to go for her.

That said, I've been trying rushing Wriggles for a few games now, and I must say it's a boss tool for farming, and greatly speeds up neutral grabbing. The lifesteal plus armor more than covers for the minion damage, and so far, it has allowed me to stay in the lane far much longer than without, while harassing the crap out of the opposition. Not to mention dem wards. Never get ganked from the river ever again. It's not mad deeps compared to Malady + Wit's End or Bloodrazor though, but those can come later.

Next on the itemization probing is what AS items I should get, and which ones I should forget about. In the hour long game I posted previously, only four of my items contributed to AS (PD, Wit's End, Bloodrazor, Berzerker Greaves). Throw in AS marks, AS offense mastery, and an elixir, and I hit 2.5 AS. (2.335 without the elixir I believe)
Kajitii gets ganked from the river!?!??
