PBE Patch notes for the Syndra patch have been posted, although it was stated that Syndra will not be usable in this build.

Some hefty nerfs to Alistar, Corki, and Shen. And I don't know if the Eve and Twitch buffs will make them any better.

Riot just does not like Alistar right now. Those Diana nerfs hurt my soul (but really, they could've done something small and I still would've cried).

And yet, no MF buffs and she's still nerfed Eve tier. The Twitch buff is inconsequential and doesn't count as a buff.

Thank you Riot, you finally nerf his mtherfking Quickdraw. I think Graves will be in line after this.

Hard to call the Ezreal changes a nerf. W loses base damage, Q's mana cost drops.

Why does this feel like a poke at the top AP/AD players in the world at the moment?

In general this is how it goes. When the big tournaments are played and the same champs are constantly picked and seem to always win, riot decides to nerf them down. Whether they may or may not be correct is irrelevant in some cases.

For example, a lot of people believe riot nerfed AP kogmaw to hell due to Froggen's excellent gameplay of him during a tournament a couple months back.

I like the alistar nerfs. I always ban him though if I can because he's just so annoying in lane and in jungle.

You need to think about that from a dominion main's point of view. He is the best ranged carry in the game over there, while corki kind of sucks.

Tournaments are a strong indicator of which champs are over the top. That doesn't mean they're necessarily OP. For example, Westrice plays Akali very well, while froggen destroys everyone with Anivia.

I think the nerfs to AP Kog'Maw were a long time in coming since a good AP Kog forces the other team to play Dance Dance Revolution without any chance of retaliation.

It's kinda the inverse on SR. Corki is extremely powerful and going Q first on Ezreal is a noob trap.

Arcade Sona will be available for general purchase + PAX (free). Not PAX-only

There has been a uproar these past few days about Arcade Sona (presumably) be available as a PAX-only skin. Glad Riot is doing the right thing.

...because it's not a Zyra, Orianna, Morgana, Anivia, or Kassadin nerf?

They gave very very minor nerfs to Gragas and a tiny nerf to Karthus's wall (that might actually be an overall buff if it's just making his wall 1200 at all levels). This is an AD nerf and a support (+ support jungler) nerf.
