HEIMERDINGER IS BACK

I DON'T HAVE DECENT RUNES FOR HIM, BUT I AM PLAYING HIM ANYWAY
YAY MF WEEK = WIN Big Grin

Oh and yeah you don't wanna get under kaj's annoyed side you'll get a mean pm featuring your faults a few minutes after it happens. lol Big Grin
My badness seems to fly under his radar.

What works better, AD MF or AP MF? If it's the former, I can play MF a little this week too.

Inb4 too many people using MF's ultimate to rape everyone. Frown
oh lawd Miss Fortune is so much fun.

Debating weither i want to save IP for her or Caitlyn. I like them both really..
I would go AD MF everytime ray.

Just lost because of a feeding afker, gotta love that.
Played another two games, first as Master Yi, I did fairly decent, but with Panth + Fiddle + Morgana, things didn't go nearly as well as they could have. I did punish a few early attempts at tower diving me/Akali, but our bottom lane Sivir left and while we were doing fairly even for a while, the numbers hurt. Eventually MisFortune on their side dced, so we went back to being fairly even, but in the end I just couldn't risk backdooring with so much stun/fear/etc around as I'd most likely die without putting a dent in a tower. I still ended up dying at a very bad time due to a surprise Panth stun, and from there they pushed hard and made it into the base. 2nd Push later on and they had us. It was still a pretty good game, I felt like I played alright so it counts as a success in my book.

Second game we didn't have a tank, and though I was a bit leery about being relied upon, I volunteered to go as Cho'Gath. Turns out it was the right call. I omnomnomed Karthus a ton of times. XP He was so funny, running right towards me so I could scream him and then in a short time, eat him. Of course I died almost every time I did that, but it was worth it because it meant everyone on the other side had to focus on me, which worked well a good 90% of the time, there was once or twice when my team didn't back me up and I felt like it was kind of a waste given how much fire I had drawn. Again, dealing with Panth and Fiddle weren't fun, but Fiddle and Kat were the main ones who game me grief, and Fiddle was mostly staying away from me after seeing what I did to Karthus so many times. I did eat him once as well, but he was obviously more careful so we only fought two or three times directly. Still, I think I did a good job. I went more melee protection first this time after I got a warmog, and it seemed to work well. Probably because Karthus and Fiddle were busy mostly trying to take care of our side's carries to varying degrees of success. I'm thinking I'll probably try tanking with Malphite or Nunu at some point as well, just to get an idea of which one works best. I think Cho is my fave cause again, I like omnoming on squishies, but i've played the other two before, I just need to play them against real people to see how they stack up.XP

MF can deal lots of damage if used correctly (her ultimate is extremely sick).

I would get her instead. More bang for your buck (no pun intended, lol).
Lol ap mf....
Corn Wrote:What build do you use for Kat?

My specific build generally varies on the enemy team and how well my early game goes, but I build her as hybrid/AP with some survivability thrown in so I can live while using my ultimate.

At the end of the game I aim to have shoes (either Merc Treads, Sorcerer Shoes, or Ionian Boots of Lucidity), Randuin's Omen, Abyssal Scepter, and then either a bunch of Hextech Gunblades or some AP items. Varies depending on enemy team composition, and whatnot.

For skills, I start with Bouncing Blade, grab Shunpo at Level 2, grab a second point in BB at Level 3, get a point in Killer Instincts at 4, and from there on, skill priority is R>Q>E>W. Once Q reaches higher levels, you can use it to harass in lane simply by chucking it at a minion wave that's nearby an enemy champion. Use W->Q if they're near the back of the wave so they take more damage.

During teamfights, you want to wait for the enemy team to use up their interrupts before you use Death Lotus. Things like stuns, silences, taunts, fears, knock ups, knock backs, etc.

I think you were the only one I did that to lol. Reason? Because that was my initial assessment of you and you left without much talk.
Time to learn Rammus. I've been able to make Gragas work as the main tank on my team when needed in previous weeks, but I just got rocked so hard by dat taunt and dat chasing ability. Do want.

I've heard people say it, so I assumed it existed.

> Rammus veteran here.

For starters.....

Level 1 Powerball will be more than enough for all of your ganking/initation needs. First 3 levels, what I do is to get points in 3 of my basic skills (Curl first, then Taunt, then Powerball). Then I pump points until I get Taunt to Level 4, then start putting 1-2 points to Defensive Curl, then max Taunt. Then I finish off Defensive Curl. Subsequent points after that goes to Powerball. I level my Tremors ultimate at Levels 6, 11, and 16 by default.

(Powerball is also a nice escape mechanism. You probably figured it out by now, lol)

If you remember this, allocating points into Rammus's skills is simple: LEAVE POWERBALL AT 1. YOU WILL NOT LEVEL IT UNTIL YOU MAX OUT TAUNT AND CURL (AND HAVE ULT AT LEVEL 2).

Proper Initiation Sequence: Powerball (Q) --> Taunt (E) ---> Curl (W) ---> Ultimate ® (if available).

For Summoner Spells: My spells of choice would be Ignite and Flash. Ignite is a nice skill to have, especially if your taunted victim is running away with 100 HP, getting out of your range, and you need something to finish him off.

Flash is self-explainatory.

And of course, if you for some reason want to early jungle with Rammus, get Smite. He jungles really well after Level 6, though.

Equips: Get Doran's Shield, then start building for Randouins Omen (very nice item to have. Its active effect adds a degree of deadliness into your ganking/tanking abilities). Then get Mercury Threads, then Banshee Veil and/or FoN. Follow it up with Sunfire Cape, then get one more armor item (some choices include Guardian Angel, Thornmail, Frozen Heart. You can also get one more MR armor if its necessary)

If used right, Rammus can be extremely deadly, and very hard to kill. Oh, and his ultimate is a nice structure killer; he can deal major damage to enemy turrets (or if the turret has less than half life left, there's a chance he can destroy it). Even though he's not a pro backdoorer (like Master Yi), he can still wreck structures nicely.

Oh and before Kaj nags at me for my epic phailures....

This guide is amazing. It helped me out a sh'it ton when I first began playing (my first char was rammus)
Just played one as Heimerdinger and one as Pantheon, REALLY liked Pantheon, I wanna save some points for him now.
Yeah I have been pretty much dominating with panth... its just too easy to kill squishies with him.
Yeah I bought panth a while back just because I have no chars I really wanted to buy and he sounds like yami yugi.

Pretty fun to play, but I got bored of playing him all the time.

!!!

I need to verify whether I can actually see Pantheon's mandrop proof positive before I actually wander out into ranked games. I have never seen a Pantheon since the patch.

He still has his Grand Skyfall invis problem still. I'm having the invisible problem now, but I can see its ominious circle first before it disappears.

KajitiSouls Wrote:Pantheon's mandrop

That's your nickname for Pantheon's Grand Skyfall skill? xD

First day back on the job with Rammus, but I phailed >_>
