I honestly think you shouldn't play ranked until you can fit every role. You should know at least a ranged AD, an AP nuke, a tank and a tanky dps. Jungle and Support are important too but less important at low ELO (I've had several games without jungler or support and won, or games where my team has standard comp and enemy is like 4 AD and annie and they win). Also, luck is a very important factor in Ranked, you can get idiots for teammates very very often....

I guess that makes sense. I can do tanky DPS and AD just fine, but I've tried AP and I'm bad at it. I regularly duo with my brother who plays support at bottom, with great success in normal games. I know how unreliable team mates can be in lower elo can be, so duo-queue with brother would help us both get to the elo we should be. Currently standing at around 80 wins above my losses? I'm sure i -could- essentially fill in other roles but I wouldn't be doing my team any favours.

I LOVE MORGANA! I just won 10 YES 10 ranked games IN A ROW with her. Seriously I can't stop staring at my match history. None of them have negative K/D too. And on top of that I totally passed 1600 elo. Might go for gold anyway. That's 1850 right?

1850 ELO is the minimum for gold designation. Not sure if you're willing to risk this because S1 is ending next week; not enough time to try to get enough wins to get to that point.

i love skarner. a couple times i was getting harassed so i ulti'd them and drug them into my turret as they tried to run. definitely satisfying. not to mention how awesome his Q and W are. i typically don't like melee champs but i might end up buying this guy.
He's kinda one of those guys that, if fed, is a lot like "what do?" As a squishy, it's fairly difficult to get away from him without dying. It doesn't help that he's got the beefiness of a typical melee DPS.

- Riot thinks Alistar is too good when he turns on his ult and becomes godlike. Though in compensation, he now has a 7-second ult duration earlier.
- Expected/10 on Jax nerf (already knew)
- Kayle getting some buffs (allow her to be more viable using hybrid build(s))
- Nidalee getting some buffs/nerfs. Her heal - as part of the "sustain rework" - is getting hit hard (already announced)
- Orianna too good: Her ult and her defensive ability got toned down a bit. She bites somewhat hard once she had that ult up...it wasn't too fun. =\
- Sona's getting a few things fixed up as part of the "sustain rework"
- Soraka's getting a few things fixed up as part of the "sustain rework"
- Taric's getting a few things fixed up as part of the "sustain rework"
- Did Riot just decided to go and nerf Udyr's sustain in jungle? Wt'f
- Xin keeps getting his dead butt kicked around as his knockup gets toned down by 0.25 secs....

- Bout time, this was quite the sh'its and giggles when it was first found out. Though it was very hard to replicate (had to use certain abilities at the split second before the target GTFOs), it was inconvenient for those that tried to make quick getaways (or in one case, leaping onto someone...think mandrop) and found themselves being Superman the next second. xD
Whelp, my Skarner marathon is over. Ended it with three no-death games.
The first wasn't fair for the other team because we were three noobs and two pros, while they were just semi-noobs. The second game was just messed up beyond belief. 1v5 in mid, XZ scores first blood and goes legendary in less than 4 minutes. The other team just decided to do w/e. Third game was legit. Unless you count free week Skarners to be noobs too.
