I got my keys today, I can open ALL the things in the store now.

Through the power of Super Smash Brothers and [MENTION=977]raizoo[/MENTION], I just got reunited with an old friend (we used to go to the same forum back in 2005)! Small world.

Was informed of internship applications through NASA's OSSI program yesterday. Turns out deadline is March 1st.

Went into overdrive. Applications submitted; praying the professor I asked for a recommendation letter can use ones he's already written for me because four days to write a new one is a d'ick move and I told him to not worry about it if he has to start from scratch.

speaking of which, NSF REU application responses should be getting here in 1-2 weeks. longest wait of my life.

I don't feel like giving check-ups at work but I need that paycheck to get a Nintendo 3DS XL and Pokemon X.

ugh, I must still be giddy from watching Looking.

Ugh, days like today make me want this semester to be over I'm just so lazy. Lingering thoughts in my head to switch from Physics Major to Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Major, that test was horrendous.

So, last week I was working in the office and one of my coworkers and friends (professional staff member) called the office from her personal office line, which showed on our phone she was calling. I answered the phone saying "Buenos dias!" to her, because she was my friend. She got an aggressive attitude with me and told me "do not speak to me on the phone like that", I brushed it off and said okay and helped her with what she needed. She called back again, and being the playful person that I am, I answered "Buenos dias!" again, and she told me "do not speak to me like that", so on and so forth.

The next day, I got a call from my direct supervisor, and I know have a meeting tomorrow with my supervisor, and my supervisors supervisor, and I will apparently have "administrative actions" taken against me because of this.


This is an annoying and stupid way to get stabbed in the back and told you dont really have a friend.


On top of that, my grandpa went to the hospital on thursday, and he had surgery to put a stint in his heart. The surgery was a success and he is expect to make a full recovery with better health than before. All in time for him to go to Las Vegas in 2 weeks.

Looked into an old bank account I had, 1 grand just sitting it.

Today I went to clean up an apartment I own because the tenants abandoned it a while back and right next to a pile of trash I noticed a white gold diamond ring. I found a literal diamond on a pile of crap. Well at least I would have if it was real, they had "18KT" inscribed on the inside of the band to fool people into thinking it's real. Just got it checked at a few pawn shops while I was out checking for some guitars and they told me it wasn't real.

Shame, though I wasn't expecting a whole lot considering the place where the duplex is located isn't exactly the rich part of town. I did learn pawn shops have some ridiculous pricing... 180 dollars for a used 3DS! Not even a 3DSXL!

I had a very decent day today! Kinda boring but better than nothing.

Had my meeting today, but all the night before I was sick and didn't get much sleep due to anxiety from the meeting.

The meeting itself was a bit of a joke, I was asked my side of the story to be "fair" but the decision letter was already made and waiting for me to sign it saying I accepted it. The main points they gave were that my "accent" used was culturally insensitive, and insubordination. Both are pretty bullshit, with the insubordination exposing that the person I was on the phone with "explained and instructed me to not speak in an accent or to answer the phone like that because it was against desk procedure", which all she really did was tell me to "not speak to her like that again".

They want to put me on staff probation for the remainder of the semester, where any further lapses in my job performance would result in more penalties.

I am so over this department and the bullshit like this. They even disregarded their own procedures of verbal warning to written warning to administrative actions.

I actually had a nightmare last night and it was about SP.

I had a dream that Eos started implementing all of these ridiculous rules. For example, I got infracted for posting about Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (No Bill & Ted posts allowed). Then I posted a video by Savage Garden ("I knew I loved you") and I got infracted again for posting s'hitty music. Then I got banned for too many infractions.



I then felt really scared. Oh god was I so scared. Talk about a nightmare.

Looking got renewed for a second season so things are already looking up today.

today was a nice ordinary day....until I found out that Texas court ruled it unconstitutional to ban gay marriage, I'll just say that I'm happy for LGBT couples in Texas and hopes it goes through court lifts the ban permanently. I hope Michigan is next in lifting gay marriage ban.
