Dragon Nest Social Thread
so are there enhanced armors/weapons in the lv 60 box?
Soo I haven't played since Cerberus was the highest nest or at least a little bit after that, how is the population and the botting situation in Dragon Nest now? I noticed the 60 cap finally came out so I don't know if I should try it out again.

Not for now.

This game's a hell of a lot more active nowadays compared to 32/40 cap when Nexon managed the game badly. I'd estimate it's only behind Maple and Mabinogi in terms of Nexon game population now. About mid-50 cap, customer service improved a crapton. DN is by far the best serviced Nexon game now.

The four servers were merged before 50 cap, with the new server Leviatha being a ghost town.
Damn this sword is sexy.

Now that DNArmory is fixed, I decided to see how my builds look:

Shooting Star: Tinkerer 45/104, Engineer 105/107, Shooting Star 17/104

Soul Eater: Kali 45/104, Screamer 104/107, Soul Eater 16/104 (May or may not use this char as a sub-main, depends on funds)
So.... Im back again to this game, this time Im with a friend rolling a paladin instead of a priest because pineapple wands. So far from coming back to this game I have a kali on dancer status, might make another one for screamer. I got a two questions:
1. I saw somewhere that all the servers but the newest one are merged. Is this true?
2. Im still having a lot of trouble with the skill builds for characters, if I dont do it a certain way will I just be fucked?
RandomZodiac Wrote:1. I saw somewhere that all the servers but the newest one are merged. Is this true? Yep, most of the people in Alice, Brendon, and I's (maybe a few others from SP as well) guild, Salvation, are from different servers.
2. Im still having a lot of trouble with the skill builds for characters, if I dont do it a certain way will I just be fucked? Not initially, no. You get resets at level 15, 30, 50, and 58, so if you decide you like one skill more later on, you can change it. If you wanna play with builds, go to http://dnarmory.com They have a calculator that works again, but may break if they play with it anymore.
Just post your class, what you wanna do with it, etc and we can make you a build. I have 1 of every character and pretty much know how to build them all. Of course certain things come down to preference, some things are better than others, etc.

Also if you want to play this game for PvE and do the raid at level 60, it is recommended you go guardian > crusader. It's not a huge difference but guardian provides more utility for that raid.
Just saw this, so in case y'all haven't seen it:

http://dragonnest.nexon.net/news/news/00...-surprises

Looks like a Login event set for 7/2 @ 4:00 PM PST as well as subsequent Tuesday's.

Also, RandomZodiac; add PrimatesNoob/PrimatesCry (I use them the most) and whisper me if you see me on/post your IGN here.
Are those resets part of an event, or permanent?

I only train my paladin with my friend and we are pretty much gonna stick to PvE I believe. However I also have a 45 moon lord, 24 gear master and swordsman(gladiator), level 16 mercenary and kali, and working on an alchemist atm she is level 10.
I think its safe to say Ill never go really go to PvP ever.
Edit: my moon lord engineer and swordsman all got their skills reset so they are kinda where I am stuck since I forget how I did their skills
Endgame Wrote:Are those resets part of an event, or permanent?

Not sure about the lower level ones, but they come from level-up boxes. If you want to save them definitely, don't open the box, otherwise I know the 58 reset is 1-day so maybe the others are as well.

RandomZodiac;

Here's a Lunar Knight/Moon Lord build, I may be slightly off on it, but this is what I think they look like now: Warrior 45/104, Swordsman 104/107, Lunar Knight 17/104

Click the link twice if the first fails, I don't know why dnarmory now has to redirect.
Thanks, also JPTheMonkey; is it possible to get those boxes on old characters? I really want the discounted bags and stuff that I already got on some characters.
Edit: just got a book of unlearning that I can use an unlimited amount of times but expires so I think im gonna hand that quest in and get the book later
Double edit, I really like aerial combo though =<
Pretty sure you can yeah, just level up once and you'll get the box for that level, none from previous levels though. If you like Aerial Combo, just drop Forward Thrust or put Cyclone at 11, unless someone else chimes in with a better build. I don't know how LK's work at 60 cap.
If I leveled up my level 24 swordsman would I get the 24 box?
If you leveled him to 25, you'd get the 25 box and nothing from before, unless you already got the 24 box. Each box gives you the next level's box and lists its rewards so you can see what each level gives.

Dang, no discount for adventure bag
RandomZodiac Wrote:Dang, no discount for adventure bag

If you want that discount I recommend remaking your character, level 24 isn't hard to get to.

thats what im doing, gonna use him to level my sister to 24 so she can join my friend and I.
I could have sworn the discount coupon was given out at Level 25 or 26, not 24. Unless 60 cap changed the reward list, which is pretty likely.
