They're not nerfing Elites / Champion packs. They're changing Unique mobs, which are usually quest monsters, to have the same loot table as Elites / Champions.

To add on to Dark Link's post: Unique mobs are the purple named mobs (speaking of, I hope Act bosses are excluded from this change). The ones you just find on maps, usually by themselves, and have a title for their subtext instead of their affixes. People realized last patch that they have far better drop tables and have been farming them for a while.

If you're DCing quite a bit, a couple blue posts suggested leaving all open chat channels to see if it fixes the problem and then re-enter them one by one to weed out the problem.
Oddly enough, I've never DC'd at all today and I haven't done anything.

Ah, I see. Regardless, I think it's still too hard to get a large amount of veiled crystals. It would be nice to get more than one a pop every time you salvaged a unique.

I think one of the equipment pieces has a typo in the amount of crystals it needs.
Most things need like 6 to craft...then one particular piece (I forget which one it is) needs 40. It's completely out of the norm, I think someone added a 0 by accident but no one called Blizzard out on it yet (or they haven't acknowledged it). It really doesn't make sense to require that many.
I dunno what's going on with gear that needs Veiled Crystals....some stuff needs 3...others need 15...and others still need 45 or more. Pretty stupid requirements, if you ask me, considering you only ever get 1, 2 at the most, per salvage.
It makes Enchanting such a fucking nightmare too.

Took around 5-6 re-rolls to get Arcane %. I was sad when I kept rolling 19-20% Fire / Lightning %

Now that I think about it though, I probably shouldn't have enchanted the secondary option, should have rerolled the primary so I can use it on different characters. Then again: meh, and I play Witch Doctor and Wizard a lot anyway.

I got 2 socket Depth Diggers and some shitty legendary belt from Kadala since the hotfix. Depth Diggers were an upgrade so that's something lol.
