There is disproportionately more harrassment coming from the SJW side, and all of it is what you can actually term "harrassment", not just pointing out obvious flaws in logic and character like GG does. Saying someone is a neo-Nazi when they have confirmed several times that they ARE in fact a neo-Nazi is not harrassment, it's stating a fact. On the other hand, saying that someone who makes a single post on an account about how strange it is that the journalist outlets seem to be bringing out like-articles in waves all at once is WORSE THAN ISIS, which, yes, that actually pineappleing happened, that's harrassment. You can call it cherry-picking if you want but if you actually bothered to read some of the things both sides have said about the other, UNIVERSALLY it is the SJW posters that are using inflammatory, rude, and outright false/slanderous language more often.

The genuine problem with the list itself @Lozmaster; as it defines everyone on the list as women hating harassers. Before you say that the list doesn't matter, we've had people, neutral's mind you, lost their jobs for less. Just look at the whole shirt thing that happened, it's those type of people that Atheists, Porn Stars, and even BDSM have been arguing with for years. They do have an influence, (IE Far Cry 4, Mirrors edge 2 being completely bolloxed), so while you may feel it a waste of time, there are thousands of people fighting a battle for freedom of expression while you denounce their efforts based on face valued articles.

What you read in this thread is the events that occurred, not the ridiculous battles to reach those events, nor the after math of them being made. When we have these misandrists going to the senate and even convincing Sweden that games need a sexism meter, this no longer becomes a bunch of brats squabbling over stupid sh`it. There has been a lot of trust lost because of these incidents, BasedGamer and other websites are going to attempt to destroy this stupid 'metacritic' circle jerk, the IGDA has essentially threw away any credibility, to the point almost a dozen game devs have denounced it. You're witnessing an evolution of change that rightfully gets our consumer confidence back and we're isolating those who could care less, who slander us and act like their service to us is a privilege.

Big happenings with gamergate this week, maybe as early as tomorrow. The tldr is that a Triple A female developer who was part of a project was viciously attacked into quitting because of the companies neutral stance on gamergate.

Essentially his account got suspended for saying how he'd break legs of the people responsible. We may see triple A teams actually start showing their support for gamergate, publically.

A step in the right direction, from both sides, would be to stop use internet speech and bad language, even when adressing percieved slights.

On the other hand, the usage of pseudo-academic lingo to attempt to bludgeon the other side into submission is also pretty laughable at times.

Sarkeesian has lost majority of her viewer base after the colbert report. Her last video plateaued at 800k views, while her previous (part 1) segment only managed 600k views. Her last video got that spike increase because it was released on 8/25/14, days after the zoe quin blow out.

The colbert report unfortunately put a nail in the coffin. A lot of people think colbert really coddled her, but if you watch the ENTIRE show, you can see the obvious contrasting between the two people he interviewed. Anita may have been able to disable the comments to try to hid her criticism, but the like bar, AND the facebook page were a war zone. Especially after her asinine petition to get god of war taken off the shelves.

No question that the taper should be charged, they were taping stuff in "a private bedroom". Regardless of what was taped that's an offense, and doubly so because it was shared.
