The return of Dungeon Fighter Online (OPEN BETA PT. I STARTS MARCH 24TH!).

Already burning out a bit on trying to play the Alpha so hard. Mostly obsessing over trying to get characters to learn Alchemy as well as figuring out how to optimize the daily quests so everyone can get to level 2 Alchemy easily. Without the Auction House it really bites. Oh well, just 3 days left so I shouldn't spend that much more time.

As for whether they'll stick to wiping everything but IGN/levels or actually wipe everything, one thing to consider is that regardless of what they do, you could only make 3 characters a day, so people will camp some of your favorite IGNs whether you like it or not. It also means if you wanted an IGN but it's taken, then it's popular enough that others want it too. I can tolerate it if they will wipe everything for real, but I'll still miss out on choice IGNs because even more people will be barging into the Beta to take and hold names. Alpha was as good a time to take IGNs as any.

I supose that a partial wipe might be hard to achieve and they have to revert back to a clean slate start anyway, but I doubt it.

Eventually I want to make all the FMages, but only once leveling them to ~30 becomes less horrible and boring. Made Elementalist and barely made it to 25, whereas I'm 61 on GMaster now and still having a good deal of fun.

Yeah but at least the earlier levels become easier to get through later on, I thought? With the change to the new beginner areas?

new dungeons are easier but more boring then old dungeons. Best way to level a fmage imo is just get hodor to tank for you till 1st awakening. Hodor best tank. Unless Summoner. Or you could wait for when you get assists and just cheese early game dungeons with assists.

Well, Physical Battle Mage has always been fun from the start for me. :3c Pretty much the only class I can stand training from the very beginning.

I know it's pure speculating. The thing that came to my mind was that if reserving your dream IGNs was hard even in the Alpha, it's going to become even harder in the Beta and beyond. Even more people will be playing the game since they'll know everything they earn from here on will remain.

Unless you're just referring to not having to use Facebook in the future, they're not wiping characters, just inventory/gold.

Oh yeah, that is an unfortunate truth if no wipes happen. Kinda why I was hoping for wipes anyway (even though I personally have no problem with my IGNs).

Yah the IGNs and levels. I'll admit though I'm not sure how well it'll go for me to start anew yet again if they can't partial wipe. Counting the temporary time I had on DnF and CDnF, this is already my 3rd time starting completely anew. Will be 4th if full wipe happens. It'll be less painful to level professions and get good sealed gear with Auction House, but we'll lose the free Blitz event and Remy Touches for easy leveling.

If anyone has leftover red cube frags I'm in need of 400/4 red cubes and 20 hardeners still for my awakening and I know the wipe is coming so if you could send them along to Limbic if you won't be using them I'd really appreciate it!!

Been farming every day for the past week on dailies and training and stuff to 0 blitz but I don't think I'll make it, so would any of you hell farmers mind giving me some Nihilistic fragments/stones so I can unlock sub equip before servers go down tonight? Still need 20 full stones ;_;

Oh yeah, and the hell freezer passive is the best thing ever. I should get to 65 by serverdown, good enough for me.
