[SPOILERS] X and Y pre-release Leaks and Rumours thread
Malthe Wrote:So it's quiver dance on drugs.
That's pretty pineappleing insane.
If it increased the sp.def the same turn as you used the move it'd be ridic.

Considering it's next turn, I don't think it's as good as quiver, I guess you could use it when you predict a switch, but it seems only probable to use once.

To be frank, getting a 2x boost like that means that you only need to use it once, if you pull it off you can probably proceed to kill anything that doesn't resist your STABs.
Being fairy should make it fairly possible to get a good switch-in.
If Geomancy works like SolarBeam, Sky Attack, etc. then Power Herb would be amazing on Xerneas.

Yeah but the fact it takes an additional turn means they have a high probability of doing exactly that, I feel like heatran will be a great counter to this. I don't know the stats yet though, he maybe and most likely be in ubers since dragon's are just going to fall off the face of the planet.
Mega Gardevoir has the ability Pixilate. turns all normal-type moves into Fairy type moves.

Fairy type Hyper Beam go!
Considering how useless normal moves typing is, that's probably the best thing to do to get normal kind of..not worthless. Fairy is weak against poison and steel, normal is weak against steel, so really just have some type of psychic/earth move and you're covered lol
I was looking at Gardevoir's bulbapedia page, she learns like 2 attacking Normal moves. that's all. wow.

Could be different for X/Y and TM's play a factor too.

And in X & Y?
She'll probably gain one or two at most.
Mega Gengar confirmed OP
 Spoiler
Gengarite sounds like a horrible disease.
Mega Gengar looks so stupid ;_;
Ampharos is still my favourite. Also Electric/Dragon is an awesome type combination.

I'll take that as confirmation his typing WASN'T changed, yay.
Gengar could be seen as OP with shadow tag, but I'm not sure if replacing levitate with it is a good idea since it's now prone to earthquakes. On top of that, some people can still see ghost and psychic types as pursuit/sucker punch bait.
This makes me actually want to spend some time in caves this gen.

Geomancy certainly looks interesting. I wonder if it will work like wish, where you can switch out and it affects the switch in. That would certainly make it much more useful, so even if Xernes gets Ko'ed, the next pokemon gets the buff. Mega Gengar is probably going to revolve around shadow tag.

...Is it wrong that i've only just noticed Zubat has no eyes? you'd think after being violated them every step in a cave I would have noticed such a thing.
