3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton
Sarah Wrote:BTW, for anyone who doesn't know...

If you've linked your 3DS to your Club Nintendo account prior to downloading these, you can get registration coins on your account (10 per game I think)

Oh cool, I linked them together yesterday and I didn't know you got coins for the games.

Where do I find the product codes?
You don't. After 7 days pass after you've downloaded the games, you get post play surveys available to you on your Club Nintendo account. After you've completed the surveys, you get 10 coins.

Oh right. Cool I suppose. 100 free coins? Sure.
I already have 114 coins or something so losing out on another 100 when they aren't used for anything isn't a big deal.
Ugh, hate these surveys.. I have like, 30 to do..

Aren't used for anything? You can get sweet prizes! I got the bag last year. Also they go toward your platinum status.
I wonder how far they'll let you go in terms of entering codes, considering I have codes that date back to the original DS's release.

It goes back about 4 years. Only one I couldn't do last year was Twilight Princess.

Hmm, well they allowed me to enter the Super Mario 64 DS code and that game came out in 2004.
Completing the survey gave me 30 coins, so this is interesting.

EDIT: Nevermind, apparently certain games dating prior to 2008 can still net you coins

Don't get your hopes up if you have an EU 3DS. None of the DS download games, 3DSware, virtual console or DSiware have shown up on the nintendo uk website to redeem for stars. (They do appear on your registered list for VC and 3DSware, but they don't have a button to redeem them for stars. Unless they've been adding them automatically, which is the complete opposite of how all wii downloads worked and I didn't notice)
I just started opened my account 10 minutes ago. Im at 280 coins already (waiting for system link to finish). Im aiming for platinum by tomorrow.

Then you just have to wait until next June to find out what your prize is. And until next December to actually get it. Better hope the world doesn't end.
Is everyone ready to kill something with fire? Because I know I am!

And yes, it's real. Nintendo UK confirmed it.
Awesome. I think that is a great addition to the 3DS. Nintendo sure knows how to wow me again and again.

Ugliest piece of s'hit I've ever seen attached to a system. It just doesn't seem right. /symmetry
It's uh... pretty gaudy.

Monster hunter hooray hopefully for NA someday.
not judging that thing until its out in my hands.

Why does every article I read from Kotaku seem like its written by a cynical asshat?

From the way it looks, the attachment looks like it'd make the 3DS really uncomfortable to hold
