Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers)

Head's up to anyone who didn't know: One Piece, Naruto, Bleach (well, if you're following that- duh), and FT as well as pretty much anything else Jump is on hiatus this week. The news didn't really get out clearly, so to those of you expecting the awesome follow-up to last Friday's chapter, not happening yet.

Lozmaster, all I can ask is... Why so damn serious over mango/animu series? People have different opinions and my opinion is that -as much as I love Fairy Tail- Mashima has repeated the same themes and (cheesy) plots in FT battles for a couple of times now. I'm not claiming that he's the only one, but it's something that bothers me a bit with shonen/fighting series in general. One of the main reasons I really loved 'Death Note' and 'Deadman Wonderland' was because those had an unpredictable and unique storyline. Same deal with american tv series, like 24 and Prison Break.

My friend Lozmaster, I'm not mad, I'm pretty disappointed. But let me tell you something though, If Minerva doesn't get a good beating and she actually turns to have a close match or overwhelm her opponent (be it Erza or Lucy) I'm gonna be so pissed. She is the one that earned it to begin with.

If Natsu can beat two of Sabretooths top 5 on his own (I hope he can't because I'd much rather see Gajeel fight than Natsu...again), Laxus and Erzas fights should be ridiculously easy. If it really is a 5v5 in the last day, I can't help but think it's going to be a bit redundant having some fairy tail vs sabretooth fights twice.

But they have to be the best of the best! And clearly Fairy Tail and Sabertooth are the "best guilds ever". But I think the story arc will cover something before the final battle, i.e. the stuff about the need for a celestial gates mage to open something or whatever. Then it'll be like sabertooth and Fairy tail fighting on "We're so happy to have met you, but we're still going to kick your ass now" final battle. Then Fairy Tail uses Fairy Unity ultimate power to win the fight and everyone goes "OHSH-" and everyone lives happily ever after.

Also: Chapter as expected. Kinda wanted to see Gajeel fight. Would have been really cool to see that Natsu didn't have to go all-out to KO two of them C: (Well I'm expecting hom to go all out against 2 Dragon Force imbued beings. If he didn't, then Natsu is REALLY OP)

Anyone else thinking it'd be possible for Gajeel to fall down in a mine or something, find some special ore, go dragonforce mode and go kick some ass? It'd be trolllike enough for the writer, but then again Natsu is the main character. I do hope Rogue and Gajeel aren't getting completely sidetracked <.< I actually hope Rogue is somewhat stronger then Sting, but probably not again...

So Sting and Rouge lose their lacrima?

Wow. That was a bad chapter. Natsu won the fight without even using Lightning - Fire Mode.And on his own. What was the point of even having a tag battle round then.

Now you see where I was coming from?. Natsu supposedly let Sting kick him around like a can so he could read Sting's rythm and moves, so how the pineapple he could fight Rouge aswell with such ease?. For Natsu to have had an easier fight against Sting and Rouge than he had against Zancrow is just a pile of Bullpomegranate.

I reiterate what I said before, Wendy's match was better. Her strategy of overloading Chelia to throw her power out of balance was a great argument to put her in match with Chelia and not just Nakama power. The only thing Natsu's fight had over Wendy's was a whole lot more spotlight (3 chapters to 1). I wish Mashima hadn't rushed her fight and Leo vs Kagura's ... for this.

People still read this manga?

Well you shouldn't after this chapter. This was Bleach/Air Gear levels of bad. Maybe worse.

Let's face it, hype the hell out of these 2 Dragon Slayers, have them get their asses beat the first half of the match, Power up with Dragon Force, only for Natsu to beat the both by himself. Even worse is that he force Gajeel out of the match. The actual decent character of the bunch who actually went and trained. Not get a power up.

I mean we skipped the interested Mermaid Heel vs. Lamia Scale for this?

He's saving the big epic fight for the real evil mysterious evil thingy. Sting/Rouge aren't the real bad guys.

(I didn't think it was that bad. It's still pretty bad but at least it's unexpected).

The girl from the future is totally Lucy. She has somehow come from the future to stop everyone dying.

Kinda expected it was her already because of the scene of her crying earlier being almost identical to a picture we saw of lucy before.
